1. What is a Compound Sentence?

A compound sentence is that the sentence has two independent clause.

Also in the compound sentence can be joined by a conjunction like "and," "or" "but“, etc.

2. What is a Complex Sentence?

A complex sentence has just one independent clause and one dependent clause.

Also an independent clause is a complete sentence. The dependent clause is an incomplete sentence, it needs another sentence to be understandable.

My mom was working, so I went shopping. I like chocolate ice cream, but my sister likes strawberry. They wanted to go to New York, but there was not money.

Complex Sentences:

Because my coffee was too cold, I heated it in the microwave. Before I came to my house, it was raining. My cellphone cracked the screen, so I had to fix it.

Conclusion

My personal opinion is that I have learned and searched a lot of new stuff that I did not know.
