– Staging of lymph nodes of lung cancer– Diagnose sarcoidosis or lymphoma.

• Procedure:– Incision 1 cm above the suprasternal notch– Dissection in pretracheal space upto carina. – Mediastinoscope advanced into the created tunnel – View of the mediastinum
