Fallas

LegendsEach March 19, the feast of its patron saint

San José, carpenters put out to the streets and burned parot front of his business along with the junk and old furniture in his workshop. With the arrival of spring, the days brought more daylight hours, so they did not need the parot to work late.

Over time, the parot dressed in robes to symbolize characters who wanted to criticize, continuing the Valencian tradition of satire, and thus was born the first ninot. Years later, they were adding more items to the scene, giving way to faults as we know.
