1. Introduction
The Dissemination within the ASAP project aims to achieve the following objectives:
Identify the target groups both at different geographical levels (local, regional, national,
European) and in the Publishing sector, SMEs belonging to publishing and ICT sectors, VET
sector & ECVET networks, academics, policy-makers, etc.
Disseminate information on the project to the widest possible audience through targeted
actions
Contribute knowledge in the research and practitioner communities
Anticipatory Skills for Adapting the Publishing Sector

Use the knowledge from this project to improve the quality of publishers’ professional
development and lifelong learning
Realize dissemination materials.
All project Partners are responsible for national dissemination and for involving members of their
networks in the project activities and knowledge.
Each Partner is responsible for carrying out dissemination activities at local, regional and national
level. The P6 The Publishers Association is in charge for monitoring and coordinating these across
the partner countries and reported via this dissemination report.
Dissemination activities base also on the preliminary Stakeholders Analysis (R8.1) useful to
identify the target persons, organizations, bodies, etc. to receive updates on the project,
information of interest and that could actively participate in further promotion of the project.
This document reports the activities developed, trying to single out all related details (period,
location, description, participants) providing also evidences.

Il progetto ASAP - Anticipatory Skills for Adapting the Publishing sector È terminata la prima fase del progetto europeo Anticipatory Skills for Adapting the Publishing sector (di seguito, ASAP , che ha l’obiettivo di identificare le competenze necessarie per la formazione professionale degli operatori della filiera del libro di fronte ai cambiamenti indotti dal digitale e sviluppare programmi formativi innovativi che possano essere riconosciuti allo stesso modo in diversi paesi europei e di cui AI è partner. In quest’anno sono state realizzate indagini conoscitive sui recenti cambiamenti del settore editoriale e sull’impatto del digitale con una particolare attenzione all’analisi dei fabbisogni formativi dell’industria editoriale finalizzata ad identificare le dinamiche evolutive dei profili professionali e le competenze maggiormente ricercate dagli editori oltre alle pratiche correnti di selezione e formazione per gli operatori della filiera del libro. L’analisi, coordinata da F P, ha coinvolto partner di quattro paesi europei (Italia, Spagna, Grecia, Inghilterra) oltre a Francia e Germania. I risultati serviranno a realizzare moduli formativi relativi a cinque aree professionali (editoriale, commerciale, produzione, design, comunicazione e promozione) che saranno poi sperimentati in una piattaforma MOOC che verrà realizzata ad hoc secondo i principi dei modelli europei di certificazione delle qualifiche (EQF) e di riconoscimento dei crediti formativi (ECVET).

Description of the activity The publication of an article on the final conference was agreed between AIE and FEP, being they both partners in the ALDUS network (AIE as coordinator). The article was released on the platform of the network that serves as hub for information on relevant topics and events in the publishing sector and is targeted to book professionals and stakeholders for publishing (cultural organizations, associations, book fairs, creative industries). The article was also disseminated in the special newsletter that AIE created for publishers to support them with relevant news since the pandemic started, in the section dedicated to european news .

Description of the activity EOPPEP apart of the ASAP Project is also partner in other Erasmus+ projects and through these partnerships has developed synergies and links with other initiatives at national/European level, increasing the visibility of the Projects’ actions. One of these Projects is the Live Skills Project, with which the ASAP Project has established specific interactions. EOPPEP being a Partner in both Projects, has facilitated and enhanced the cooperation between the two Projects. Description of the activity EOPPEP hosts a number of European networks in Greece i.e. EQF, EQAVET, EUROPASS, Euro guidance, ECVET. From this end, valuable synergies among the various networks are created, in terms of knowledge, best practices and methods exchange and sharing. On this basis a meeting was organized at the premises of EOPPEP among representatives of European Networks operated by EOPPEP (EQAVET, EUROGUIDANCE, EUROPASS, EQF / NCP) and representatives of National Reference Points (NRPs) of the European Network for Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET) from Finland, Croatia, Romania and representative of the EQAVET Secretariat of EQAVET. Description of the activity FEP introduced the ASAP project and reported regularly about it to its membership (29 national associations of book publishers from 28 countries in Europe) during its 4 annual member meetings, and engaged with them whenever their collaboration was needed.
Participants FEP staff and delegates from FEP members (representatives from national publisher associations and publishers), representatives from other international publisher associations, local publishers from host countries. Attendance usually ranges between 30 and 50.

Description of the activity FEP was invited to do a presentation on the impact of digitisation on the publishing sector at a symposium organised by think tank Public Policy xchange called ‘Promoting Cultural and Creative Industries: Maximising their conomic and Social Contribution in the U’. The presentation was based on the results of the work done within WP2 of the ASAP project, and in particular reflected the reports constituting deliverables R2.1 and R2.2. The project ASAP was also presented as an example of relevant initiative dealing with the digitalisation of the publishing sector.

FEP was invited twice to represent the ASAP project and consortium at Sector Skills Alliances Monitoring Meetings organised by the European Commission. FEP participated in the workshops of the meetings and provided updates on the progress of ASAP, and in the second meeting made a presentation on ASAP as it was near to coming to a close.

Description of the activity Presentation of ASAP at the EU Industry Days 2019. As the previous editions, it was a high-level conference featuring key political speakers and experts from various industrial spheres, as well as sessions organised by industrial stakeholders. The thematic areas selected for 2019 were industry and sustainability, industry and globalisation, and innovation and digitalisation. The event included an exhibition showcasing how the EU supports industrial modernisation through various programmes and initiatives, as well as a hackathon to develop solutions to industrial challenges. ASAP was assigned one of the booths through which projects were showcased. The booth was manned by FEP and Giunti, who distributed leaflets and reached out to many participants.
Participants Hundreds of people attended the event, from all fields: policymakers, researchers, project consortia, entrepreneurs, etc. All had the chance to see the ASAP booth. The ASAP team reached out to some 25 people for an individual presentation.

Activity type ASAP Final Conference.

Description of the activity The project Final Conference, which took the form of an online event due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 crisis, was co-organised by FEP with the consortium of a similar SSA project, Live Skills, focusing on the performing arts and audiovisual sectors. The webinar was called ‘Creative Skills development in a digital age: case studies and policy opportunities’; the partners of both projects presented the main features and results of each project and reflected, together with other participants, on issues related to skills development in the cultural and creative sectors in a digital environment. FEP wrote a report on the event for its newsletter, for the ASAP website and also for the Aldus Knowledge-Hub, an online resource by the Aldus project, which provides information about training opportunities for the publishing sector, among others.
