There are many buildings made from painted cement which

are inspired from geography, climate, and other surroundings.

The structure communicates the relationship that people have with

their community, nature and the man- made environment.

In the past most people in Korea lived in traditional houses, but now they live in rectangular shaped high-rises, which ignore the Korean traditional structure. The my design suggests new methods in which nature, man and structure can coexist.

My design changed this building into a Communication Centre where I made use of surrounding landscape and made a green space

Originally, this building was a water pumping station for drinking water but it had been left derelict for several years.

for people to enjoy the outdoors.
