Summary of the Mechanic

• Unlike other games where time is manipulated, the player is able to step through time and space and change from protagonist to antagonist in doing so. • This changes the entire dynamic of the

gameplay.

• This mechanic is unique because: It gives the player a dual perspective to the game world and story.

Mechanic #1: TBA

The Time Rip shouldn’t stay active once the

player has proceeded through it.

Fatigue EncountersNo health, no problem

Don’t get hit and be able to do more damage

Mechanic Info

• Platform: PC, Xbox One, PS4

• Number of Players: Single player, Co-op, or Multiplayer

• Controls: Keyboard & mouse, 12 button controller

• Perspective: Camera switch between 1st and 3rd person

Summary of the Mechanic

• If players take damage they will become fatigued and do less damage. Don’t take damage and fatigue will subside and the player will be able to do more damage.• The boss will react to missing their own attacks

and become fatigued and take increased damage.

• This mechanic is unique because: There’s no need for health meters. The mechanic is based on the player’s awareness and skills alone.

Mechanic #1: TBA

The fatigue loss after being hit will remain until the player successfully dodges the next attack.

The boss will start to soft enrage when their

attacks are dodged.

CloakingReduce line of sight of enemies to zero to

help bypass elements for a short period

• Platform: Mobile, Smartphone

• Number of Players: 1

• Controls: Touch screens

• Perspective: Bird’s eye

Summary of the Mechanic

• The player can select to cloak an enemy when nearing them, and see a swirl surround that enemy for a short duration. As the player nears that enemy it will shroud both of them hiding them from all others in the near vicinity. The shroud will end after a few seconds, or immediately if the enemy has died. This will make the player once again visible to all other enemies in the area.

• This mechanic is unique because: Anytime a cloak type mechanic is used it’s always been on the player themselves. Here though, the ability is used in an offensive nature by shrouding the player and enemy from others in the vicinity so they don’t know a fight has broken out.

Mechanic #1: TBA

Cloak cannot be constantly used but will

have an internal cooldown yet to be

determined.The range of the Cloak will extend to 15 yards

and encompass any and all enemies within

that range.

Terra-formingWhen things aren’t going according to plan,

change the landscape.

• Perspective: Camera switch between: 1st person, 3rd person, and bird’s eye view

Summary of the Mechanic

• As a player prepares for an attack, they can spend resources to change the landscape. Raise, lower, flood, scorch, or freeze the ground to hinder the enemy or secure your own. Other players can change the land after securing the terra-forming device.

• This mechanic is unique because: Destructive environments are becoming more prevalent in games, but none determine how decisions are made moving forward. Land jutted up into mountains that slows an armies movement changes the “landscape” of the game moving forward. It makes the game truly interactive.

Mechanic #1: TBA

As long as the player is in control of the Terra-

forming device and land within the range of it can

be transformed. It cannot be destroyed so should be recognized as

a constant within the game.

LyingTrust isn’t for the faint of heart

• Platform: Analog Board game

• Number of Players: 5

• Controls: Verbal

• Perspective: 1st person

Summary of the Mechanic

• A player agrees to trade a certain card to another player. After the trade goes through, player 2 realizes that they were given the wrong card. Now there’s a lack of trust between players and the dynamic shifts to self perseverance.

• This mechanic is unique because: Many games allow players to mislead other players in the game, but this one embraces lying as a means to progress the game forward.

Mechanic #1: TBA

The lying mechanic should be seen as a

passive mechanic that won’t always been

utilized. It comes down to how often the players

want to pull a quick one. It will though, when used, change the landscape of

the game’s dynamic.
