Maria Antonia Saldanha has been Com-
munications & Image Manager at SIBS
SGPS since 2007. She is also the PR ad-
visor of Vitor Bento, CEO of SIBS SGPS.
Since this January, she has advised the
SOS Children’s Villages-Portugal on mat-
ters related to PR and communications.
Ms Saldanha completed her studies at
the University Lusiada of Lisbon and has
also taken courses at SEBRAE, INP, Insti-
tute Nova Forum of the faculty of Econo-
mics of the New University of Lisbon and
the Portuguese Catholic University.

Santander Totta since 2006, Cristina
Dias Neves is the bank’s spokesperson
and is responsible for external commu-
nications. After studying Political and
Communication Sciences, she gained
professional experience as a journalist,
and contributed to several publications,
including Fortunas & Negócios and
Meios & Publicidade. Prior to her current
job, Ms Dias Neves advised some of the
largest companies of the PSI-20, while
at the communication consulting firm,
João Líbano Monteiro & Associados.
José Quintela Managing PartnerQuintela & Reis Consultants
José Quintela is a partner at Quintela &
Reis Consultants. He is also a lecturer
on Public Relations, Media Relations,
and Financial Communication at the
INP (Institute of New Professions) and
the IGB (Institute of Management). Mr
Quintela holds a DEA (Master of Ad-
vanced Studies) and is currently earning
a PhD with a financial focus on organi-
satonal communications. He has a wide
range of PR experience and is the author
of scientific and technical papers and
the book, Transparency on PSI-20 Listed
Companies Websites.
Rita Maltez PartnerPares Advogados
Rita Maltez is a Partner at the law firm,
Pares Advogados. Her areas of experise
are M&A, both at the national and inter-
national level, as well as advising boards
in governance matters, and structuring
governance models. Ms Maltez is also a
professor of Corporate Governance for a
post-graduate course, a member of the
Portuguese and European Institutes of
Corporate Governance, a Board Mem-
ber of the Association of Law Firms of
Portugal (ASAP) and the author of a blog
(www.governodassociedades.word-
press.com).
