SEVEN DAYS TROPICAL SAFARI
DAY 1: Kilimanjaro to Ngorongoro
You will be picked from the Airport and depart to Ngorongoro Crater with a stopover at Mto Wa Mbu where
you will have a chance to taste the Red Bananas, arrive at the Camp for check in and lunch. Relax at the Camp
till 1430hrs and descend to the Crater Floor for the evening Game drive till 1800hrs. The Ngorongoro
Conservancy is a conservation area located 185 km west of Arusha in the Highlands area of Tanzania.
Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic caldera within the area, is recognized as one of the Seven Natural
Wonders of Africa. Ascend back to the Camp for Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa lodge
DAY 2: Ngorongoro - Serengeti
Wake up for the full breakfast and depart to Serengeti National Park, arrive at the gate and start a full day
game drive with picnic lunch till evening. The Serengeti is a vast ecosystem, home to a dazzling variety of life,
and the site of the largest migration on the planet. The name comes from the Maasai word for endless plains,
but the Serengeti is much more, with woodland, riverbank forests, and swamps giving cover to dozens of
mammal species and over 350 varieties of bird. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Serengeti
Sopa Lodge
DAY 3: Serengeti
Wake up for the full breakfast and start a full day game drive with picnic lunch. You will have your lunch at a
picnic site. Proceed with the game drive till evening. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at
Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
DAY 4: Serengeti – Lake Manyara
Wake up for a full breakfast and depart to Lake Manyara National Park arriving in time for lunch, arrive at the
Camp for check in and lunch. Relax till 1530hrs and set for the evening Game drive till 1800hrs. Lake Manyara
is a national park of roughly 330 km2 (130 square miles) in size with a part of it covered by the lake itself. The
Great Rift Valley stretch is clearly seen here, with the escarpment descending roughly 500 meters. The
vegetation in Lake Manyara area is lush and green. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Lake
Manyara Serena Lodge
DAY 5: Lake Manyara - Ruaha National Park
Wake up for the full breakfast and depart to Ruaha National Park. Arrive at the Gate and start a game drive en
route to Ruaha River Lodge for check in and lunch. Relax till 1600hrs and begin an evening game drive till
sundown. Ruaha National Park has an area of 20,380 sq. km. In its aura of untrammeled wilderness, the Park
has a big area of semi-arid bush comprising of several ecological areas. Things to see in the park include: The
main river valleys with their stands of tall fig trees, areas of open "black cotton" grassland, the miombo
woodland and the undulating area which is mostly dominated by the baobab trees. Ruaha has one of the
largest elephant sanctuaries in Tanzania. Other attractions include; Ruaha River, Usangu flats, more than 400
species of birds as well as the greater and the lesser kudus. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at
Ruaha River Lodge.
DAY 6: Ruaha National Park - Tarangire National park
Wake up for the full breakfast and depart to Tarangire National Park, arrive at the gate and start a game drive
en route to Tarangire Sopa lodge for check in and Lunch. Relax till 1600hrs and proceed for the evening game
drive till 1800hrs. Tarangire National Park covers an area of 2,600km², with the Tarangire River, which flows
through increasingly incised leaving the north - western corner flowing into Lake Burungi. In the south are a
series of vast 'swamps' which dry into verdant plains during the dry season. Large numbers of elephant herds
congregate here, as well as many wildebeests and zebras. There are also substantial populations of impala,
giraffe, eland and buffalo. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge
DAY 7: Tarangire National Park - Arusha
Wake up for the full breakfast and make game drive for utmost two hours. Depart to Arusha for lunch.
Proceed with a city tour in Arusha. Arusha is a city in northern Tanzania, the capital of the Arusha Region, with
a projected population of 1,288,088. The city of Arusha is surrounded by some of Africa's most famous
landscapes and national parks. Situated below Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the
Great Rift Valley, Arusha has a temperate climate. The city is close to Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake
Manyara, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, and Mount Kilimanjaro and The Arusha National Park on
Mount Meru. Drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Lake Duluti Serena Lodge.
