Chapter 8: The Home Stretch

Well, it’s ready, the next chapter in my Geology OWBC. After much fighting,

crying, and pleading with my Belladonna Cove to work right and not crash in a

fiery ball of doom while trying to save, I managed to birth the final generation

of my Geologies. I know I will have to nuke my Belladonna after this, the

lagging and freezing is making me far too nervous to continue using it.

And don’t worry, Black Star hasn’t forgotten about the Diviner yet…he’s still

after them. But how and when he plans to strike…that’s still to be seen.

Right then, on with the show.

This was it; Olivenite’s final chance to collect everything he had missed the first time he

had visited Takemizu Village. Also it was a chance to spend time with his children again

before they all got too busy with their own lives to remember their aging father. Ruby was

married and preparing to bring in their family’s final generation; and also to face off

against Black Star who had been far too quiet for his liking since he tried to go after his

sister Breccia.

Catalina: Don’t look so sad honey, our kids won’t forget us.

Olivenite: You say so, but somehow I wonder if that’s really true. I mean how often did my

sisters come see mom and dad once they aged up? Never as I recall. Sure they sent pictures

of their kids but none of them actually came to see them.

Catalina: And you think the same will be true for our kids?

Olivenite: Yes. Does that sound ridiculous?

Catalina: We won’t let them forget about us. I swear on it.

Of course it didn’t help when the ninja would not teach him the secret to teleportation.

Olivenite was sure he deliberately changed the answers to the questions so he couldn’t

learn. Maybe he was fed up with being asked by all the tourists who came here. All in all

it was nice to have some time with his kids here and Ruby had the next generation to bring

in too so that was exciting.

And he would have a nice story to tell them too once they arrived. Olivenite was

fascinated by the story of the Dragon Legend the Old Wise Man told him.

The new house was finished by the time they came back to Belladonna Cove, this would be

the last time they would have to move and for that, Olivenite was grateful. They had come

a long way since his mother got stuck here, she made a life for them and he was proud to

ensure that her legacy continued.

Jon Smith Tricou still bothered Olivenite a bit, what was he up to? And why is there no

record of him after 80 years? What happened to his first family? Ruby was in love and she

said he made her happy, Olivenite was not so sure; she was his youngest baby after all, he

didn’t want to see her get hurt.

Ruby got pregnant quickly and soon had twins, a boy and a girl. In keeping with the

family naming tradition, the boy was named Olivine and the girl was named Okenite.

Both had black hair, which could have come from either side of their family; Ruby’s alien

half or Jon Smith’s who seemed to dye his hair.

Geodessa: Oh Trent look!! They have done so well for themselves!!

Trent: I see the flamingo flock is still multiplying, can a ghost still kick them over?

Geodessa: Why would you want to? They’re so cute.

Trent: They mock me with their pinkness…

Geodessa: You silly old ghost…

Geodessa: Metrion!! How are you my princess?

Metrion: I must protest to this undignified state, how could you let the Great Princess

Metrion succumb to death?

Geodessa: Oh don’t be like that, we’re still together you and I.

Metrion: Well I do admit, that I find reassuring Mistress…but this is not home. How

will we get home?

Geodessa: I don’t know…I wonder if they miss us there.

**They look different in this picture because somewhere in the middle of the save, the

game froze on me so I had to Crtl+Alt+Del it to get it unstuck…first time she had triplets

and I realized I didn’t have three O names!!**

Jon Smith: I wanted to toss Olivine dear.

Ruby: I got there first.

Someone is definitely lying about their genetics here…Jon Smith has blue eyes when he’s

rezzed and blond hair when you age him down…both kids have black hair, brown eyes…

Geodessa won’t scare…go figure. Trent got

him too but I missed the picture, I was

watching the others in the house.

Ruby: My hair’s glitched and this HURTS!!

As usual, two more babies are needed to finish the generation, so here’s one more of the

required three.

Ruby: My hair is back and BABY!!

And we have another boy, this time his name is Pyrope and again, I have to wonder

who is really lying about their genetics here…this is not S1 or even S2, it’s a custom

skin…

Catalina: Pen!! So nice of you to just walk right in without being invited.

Pentlandite: Any time sis.

Okenite: We have better clothes right grandma?

Catalina: Of course dear.

Okenite: Oh good.

Olivenite: I knew this day would come…

Catalina: I suddenly miss my vampiric immortality.

Sapphire: Uncle Ollie is old…

Diamond: And mommy, his older sister is still young.

Sapphire: What did we walk into here?

Olivenite: Okay champ, time to grow up.

I wish I knew why he has a custom skin…

And amidst all the strangeness that surrounds Jon Smith’s genetics, we have our final baby
