Chapter 6:

Drifting Along the Rivers of Time

Drifting Along the Rivers of Time, a nice phrase. Last time we ended with the unauthorized birth of the second alien spawn for Olivenite’s generation, and most recently voted heiress,

Ruby. I don’t believe I have many pictures of her toddlerhood, mostly because I was working on the other kids to get them ready

for college. Ignored spare is ignored. Only she became heiress, so…I guess I should have paid more attention to her huh? *cough* Moving

on…

The oldest two, Limonite and her alien half brother Pentlandite spent most of their childhood skilling and preparing for college. Much was the same for their younger sibling Rhodonite and soon to be Ruby. And much

to their creator’s despair, Metrion and Prince had a falling out and the two became enemies rather quickly after that. When asked for a

statement about their falling out, Metrion simply replied:

“He should not have tried to steal my bed. You do not upset the queen of the castle and expect forgiveness.”

Sadly, that meant no baby kitties for their creator to squee over. *is sad*

Limonite: Kittens would have been nice, I’d want to keep one, but Metrion is so stubborn when it comes to that. I wanted to race them.

Trent: Kitten racing? Surely not, why would you want to do that?

Limonite: Because you already said no to racing Rhode and Ruby.

Trent: They’re your brother and sister, not race horses!!

Limonite: So?

Trent: Honestly child, where does your mean streak come from?

Remember these two? These are the kids of Breccia and Basalt. Pink haired child is Nepheline, daughter of Breccia and the Grim Reaper,

the one in the blue hair is Diamond, daughter of Basalt and her husband Roger. Nepheline is proof that the seemingly over dominate

Reaper genes can be beaten by powerful recessives. And they are adorable, which is bonus.

Squee over the cuteness that is Nepheline and Diamond. Squee I say!! They both carry the family eyes as well as Geodessa’s hair so that’s why they got new custom hair so I don’t have an army of the purple haired ones running loose around Belladonna Cove and confuzzling me to no

end. They will be around a lot so enjoy them while you can.

One more for the road. *squee* I got the mommy and the daddy dolls this time. Go me.

Onyx married Stephen Benson and moved into an apartment complex. The upscale one next to the DeBateau one I believe. Being Family

sims these two wanted kidlets as soon as the ring was on the fingers so I obliged.

Stephen: Are you sure that this place will be big enough for kids my green beauty?

Onyx: Yes dear, we picked out a good unit, there’s lots of room.

Stephen: Do you know when I’ll get to meet my baby? I am so anxious to see them.

Onyx: OWW!! I’d say now was about right!!

Stephen: *freak out mode*

And then I get the pop up: There’s TWO new babies in the family.

Looks like another big generation…

Onyx: We have twins.

Stephen: I know dear.

Onyx: They look like dad.

Stephen: Yes dear.

Recessives is the name of this generation. Who knew Trent’s recessives were so strong?

Twin girls: Emerald and Amethyst. In the black hair is Emerald and the ginger is Amethyst. It looks like a pretty generation to me.

Onyx: I want another.

Stephen: Me too.

Of course. *eye roll* One of them has the Graduate 3 Kids LTW.

Amethyst: We cute?

Emerald: We is cute.

As if my generation wasn’t already big enough, we have one more. This is Sapphire, another girl. Yes, I said ANOTHER girl. But who is

her father? Well…

It seems that Chanteri here wouldn’t listen to the words of his father or Ani-Mei and would not be denied the woman he loved…this could

only mean that the non-interference rule with the mortals was broken, and broken pretty badly. Sapphire is Chanteri’s daughter;

and she has my simself’s eyes.

Roger: So where is her father?

Breccia: He’s…around Roger. Don’t worry.

Roger: A girl needs a father in her life sis.

Breccia: I believe I can handle raising my daughters myself alright?

She’s cute!! It looks like S4 and my simself’s eyes really do work well together. I just have to fix the poor girl’s hair and she’s good.

One quick look in on Obsidian and her guy, the Goth Tricou kid whose name I forgot now. No kids since they’re Romance/Pleasure

types and don’t want any. I have a rule that says if they don’t roll the want for a baby, then no baby do they get. Which is fine by me of

course. I like to keep a manageable size for my current generation.

Back with the main line, more birthdays. I moved them to a new house since the other one was getting slightly laggy (but I soon found

out this one was no better), but it had a helipad so I thought it was cool. Limonite grew up into a Romance/Pleasure seeker. Don’t know why the dice said Pleasure for her secondary though, she’s far too

serious to really take advantage of it, but what can you do right? She will soon be followed by her brothers Pen and Rhode. As well as

heiress Ruby.

We had some genies saved up so I promptly sent Limonite over to use them. I do not feel like doing her

20 Lovers want so she gets instant genie wish instead. The others will

be used for the other kids once they teen, unless I still want to do whatever LTW they roll. Yes I used one of her eight commands to do this, a pleased Bad Apple is nice.

(Unless I wasn’t supposed to control my Teen Bad Apple…)

Limonite: Peace of Mind please.

Genie B: Sure kid.

Genie A: *yawns* Am I going to be needed this time?

Genie B: Not this time it seems.

Later that night it was Pen’s turn to join teen hood; please say cute…

Pen: Alright!! Girls here I come!!

Pen got Knowledge/Popularity. I guess the girls part is for his 20 Best Friends he wants? I dunno.

Pen took a genie wish too, I may as well use them up right? What else are they for but to be used? They don’t need money, I never really saw much point to the beauty wish, so I usually go with the

Peace of Mind ones they are the most useful.

Slightly out of order but Rhode’s b-day was the same day as the others so this was taken before. He’s a cutie, I love the fact that he got the ears and that all the kids seem to have gotten them, even if

the purple skin was lost after one generation…

But…all good things must come to and end and the day after the boys’ birthdays, Grim came to claim Trent. I was so shocked by this I nearly missed it. I kept an eagle eye on Geodessa’s life bar after this, she was

slightly older but got that two day glitch tacked on the end. I loved Trent, he was such a good hubby.

Trent: Must you? I mean after what Breccia told me about the pirate guy…I simply can’t go and let him come after my family!!

Grim: I can’t help that; unless he shows up on my list I can’t do anything. But you are on it and it’s time to leave.

Trent: I never told Geodessa!! She has to know about him!!

Grim: You should have thought of that before. Too late now.

This would have been a nice picture except for the slightly annoying FFS dancing on feet thing that kids do. At least Metrion cared enough

to show up.

“I resent the implication; I cared for my mistress’s husband too you know.”

“Sorry.”

“You are forgiven…I suppose.”

Poor Ruby had to grow up and miss her grandpa. I thought it was sad that she had to grow up the next

night without him there.

Ruby: Are you going to leave us too grandma?

Rhode: Are you?

Geodessa: Not right at the moment my treasures, rest assured. I will still

be here for a little while yet.

And this ends another installment. I have been battling writer’s block for this chapter for weeks and as much as I would have loved to spend more time with the kids while they were younger, I simply did not have

enough pictures to do so. I got distracted with the move to New Boolprop and then began my Alphabetacy and this sort of got left on

the back burner until now when I just pushed through it. Now for some stats of the kids in this chapter:

They don’t really need the whole composition explanations like the others since they are not mainline kids and their names are pretty much self-explanatory. I wanted to use names that were outside the

Boolprop naming scheme for this OWBC.
