This arrangement resulted in sub-optimal operations, higher cost and brought in a scope for: Establishing an highly experienced resource pool to support and maintain the CRM applications Reducing maintenance cost by incorporating an economical and flexible onsite consulting team Customization of PeopleSoft CRM applications on the Blackberry platform to improve sales productivity Business challenges As a niche PeopleSoft player, Hexaware planned a sophisticated project roadmap for application support and maintenance activities, which included: Review of business requirements Preparation of functional testing strategy Preparation of technical design document Well defined process connecting all the phases Hexaware Approach A robust global delivery model was incorporated by leveraging our proprietary HexASM methodology. We incorporated a 30% onsite and 70% offshore resource pool that led to improved productivity, enhanced application stability with less number of support and maintenance staff. In addition, a couple of resources were added to the pool in a shared mode to provide leveling during peak period.
