DESCRIPTION

Dassian's GPD PACE is an application that ensures customers can clearly and concisely provide the right data to their government auditors to "Follow the money trail" with standard SAP Manufacturing Grouping Pegging and Distribution (GPD) data. Standard SAP manufacturing with GPD provides great flexibility to manufacturing. Unfortunately, many companies have problems explaining the complexities of GPD cost flow to the government. This application provides the key information needed to bridge this gap. GPD PACE also has many reports to provide better visibility into the complex GPD processes for project-based manufacturing. PACE seamless sits on top of standard SAP GPD to give your company everything they need to successfully "follow the money."

Why Dassian’s GPD PACE?

Feb 20th, 2014 GPD Productivity And Compliance Enablers

PACE was developed to complement GPD allowing customers to easily explain the GPD cost postings on the final cost objectives: “where the money is going” and “why it is going there”.

PACE simplifies audit-ability of GPD (DCAA, DCMA, Internal audits).

PACE demystifies the results of GPD pegging. You can easily walk up the BOM tree to the end-item WBS element.

PACE keeps up with history. You know with certainty that billed costs are tied directly back to your project with visible links from the lowest BOM item to the end item.

PACE provides detailed information for regulatory reporting. You will know the cost of inventory at any point in time and much more.

GPD PACE – Overview

Feb 20th, 2014 GPD Productivity And Compliance Enablers

Dassian's GPD PACE is an application that ensures customers can clearly and concisely provide the right data to their government auditors to "Follow the money trail" with standard SAP Manufacturing Grouping Pegging and Distribution (GPD) data. Standard SAP manufacturing with GPD provides great flexibility to manufacturing. Unfortunately, many companies have problems explaining the complexities of GPD cost flow to the government. This application provides the key information needed to bridge this gap. GPD PACE also has many reports to provide better visibility into the complex GPD processes for project-based manufacturing. PACE seamless sets on top of standard SAP GPD to give your company everything they need to successfully "follow the money."

Key Benefits Offers detailed information in support of DCAA audits. Enables accurate actual cost reporting on any component of the production BOM. Provides better visibility to overall GPD processes. Reduces overall support cost by providing powerful tools to analyze data. Helps to explain pegging assignments and distributed cost. Provides tools to find and analyze pegging and distribution errors. Reports to display total actual cost rolled up to any production material even before they enter production or work in

process status. Reports to monitor cost by projects, WBS, network activities, PIRs, sales orders, deliveries, non-GPD requirements. Improves on-line reporting performance with in-memory option.

GPD is project cost oriented

Distribution moves the (direct) cost incured on a replenishments to WBS

Material cost is a ”collection” of total cost of its orders within a period

There is no visibilitiy to the total cost of individual objects and materials

Cost rollup functionality is missing from GPD
