Better Design : : Deeper Insights
Intelligent Content your media will know you better than you know yourself
May you live in interesting times . . .
We are at the dawn of fully interactive reading, watching and listening
Reading is dead
“Reading,” as we know it, is dead.
Media + People will ‘read’ one another.
Read less, know more
People will read less. Yet, they will “know” more than ever.
Books, Magazines, Newspapers are a relatively slow way to absorb information.
Read less, know more
Reading billboards is a ‘low retention’ratio message event
Reading tags is an extremely data poor way to convey info
Reading Search results can be overwhelming
Watching is dead
“Watching,” as we know it, is dead.
Media + People will ‘watch’ one another.
Watch less, know more
‘Watching YouTube’ is an oxymoron. We will soon engage video.
Watching movies is a socially poor form of entertainment.
Watching a game means you really missed most of it.
Listening is dead
“Listening,” as we know it, is dead.
Media + People will ‘listen’ to one another.
Listen less, know more
Listening to music is a wasted opportunity to discover more.
Listening to a great concert leaves your other senses alone.
Listening for birds is a missed window to learn even more.

Wearable information
We are in the most intense era of upheaval in content development since the launch of the web
Personal Display Everyday holograms
Media revolution
Two concepts will revolutionizecontent and engagement:
Immersive experiences
Sentient software
In both cases, experience design will respond to what the content estimates will likely engage you.
A war for the Starting Point
Search, Social, Navigation are at war over the starting point for engagement
A new starting point may emerge.
It won’t likely be controlled by any of the incumbents.
Read, Watch, Listen less. Yet, know more.
Gesture Audio Graphical
A Star Starting Point is born
Search, Social, Navigation are at war over the starting point for engagement
Rethinking the basics
Reading, Writing & Arithmetic will be replaced by Touching, Talking & Thinking
Government, military and law enforcement applications will create new realities for content navigation.
Yes, government will lead innovation
Search and Discovery reborn
Aggregators will disrupt Search in unforeseen ways.
The Concept
What looks like an experiment today, will soon be your reality.
Evolving Conclusions
If von Neumann was right, we will soon wear some intelligent device which will listen to the entire world for what we want to read, watch, or listen to, then deliver it to us in content format so immersive we absorb the information by merely paying attention.
Evolving Conclusions
Random Intelligent
Intelligent content will fuel the (ART+DATA) concept, and will propel us forward at an ever accelerating rate.
