This screenshot is of the top ten keywords that people have typed in that have brought up my relevant blogposts between December 31st 2014 – April 19th 2015.

This is only the first 10 rows, I have 1214 rows to scroll through, yours will vary.

Each keyword gives you specific information with the grand total at the very top:

1. Impressions:

2. Clicks:

3. Average Position:

4. CTR (Click through rate)

Why is this information so useful?

In a nutshell, you will discover the exact keywords that your content is ranking for and not ranking for onGoogle.

The number of times your content has been shown as a result of someone’s search.

The number of times your website URL was clicked on by the user.

The average ranking position of your content on Google’s search.

The click through rate for that specific piece of content.

What do I do with it?

Knowing information is all good and well however not taking action on the feedback you have makes thisentire discovery a waste of time.

Take the time to go through all of your statistics and see what’s working and what isn’t.

You might be pleasantly or shockingly surprised!

You can then tweak your posts and create new ones based on what your findings are.

If you don’t have many queries or you don’t see the queries that you want, that’s ok because you now have

the power to change it over time.

If you are not testing, tracking and tweaking your content, you are simply running your businesswith a blind fold on.
