It’s common knowledge within the Network that getting to aKleeneze meeting – no matter how big or small – is an investment inyour future. The amount of learning from the ‘official speakers’ downto what you glean while chatting with the leaders during the break orafterwards is simply invaluable.

For those who attended the Warwick Kleeneze LIVE! on Saturday 5March, not only did they invest in their future, they became a part ofKleeneze’s history when it was announced that every single attendeewould form part of a pioneering group to pilot e-commerce forthe company.

Warwick was originally billed as the event at which we would pick 100Distributors to trial e-commerce, but on the day itself, ManagingDirector Jamie Stewart had some news…

“I’ve got some good news and bad news,” he said. “Let’s get thebad news out of the way, which is that it doesn’t look as if we’llhave 100 businesses in the trial. I know how many of you bookedtoday for that reason but, the good news is that I persuaded theteam that every single Distributorship who’s made the effort to behere today will take part.”

On that amazing note, it was onto a day of training. The morning’ssession focused on sponsoring and team motivation with Gold SeniorExecutive, Neil Young and Silver Executive, Doug Roper. The audiencealso heard the success story of Senior Distributor Lorraine Balcombe.

After a rousing recognition ceremony, it was onto the afternoon’straining. Silver Premier Executive Mike Bibby took to the stage tomotivate us all into action, followed by Gold Distributor NickSassanelli’s story. We ended the day on a high with the inimitablePlatinum Premier Executive Rob Forster’s tale of success.

It’s really quite ironic how failure leads to success, but it’s true. Each failure takes us closer to achieving our goals. However, for somethis is a concept that they simply can’t understand. So, if you’resomeone who’s digging your heels in and adamant that failure is justnot an option, you may want to have a read of Andy Buxton andLaura Kelly’s story.

“It’s always been our goal to qualify for every single Destination, so itwas very motivational when we didn’t qualify for Hong Kong lastyear!” laughs Andy. “We re-evaluated the way we saw failure andwhen New York was announced, we were even more determined toqualify for it.”

This personal ‘failure’ of Laura and Andy’s only made them moredetermined to learn from it and move on. This week, the first step oftheir journey to their goal was completed when they qualified at GoldExecutive Distributor.

“At the time New York was announced, we had a number of routeswe could have taken. You need to have four qualifying Golds in orderto make Gold Executive, but rather than breaking new Golds, wewanted to focus on our existing leaders that had dropped their pinlevels. They really wanted to re-qualify too, so it made sense to take itfrom that direction.”

There’s an easy way to spot Andy and Laura’s team members onevents, because usually one of them is holding a stuffed bear. Thesebears, which Laura makes herself, are a symbol of the group’stogetherness and each marks a new achievement for the individual.

“It’s always said in Kleeneze that if you help enough people to getwhat they want, you’ll get what you want,” says Andy. “The GoldenBear group really is one big team and we all work together to achieveany one of our successes.

“At the moment, everyone’s talking about televisions in terms of 3Dvision and HD vision. For the group, our vision is 4D. Desire, Drive,Determination and Discipline. The ‘Desire’ is the first one – it’s yourreason why. Our reason at the moment is New York, but it’s not a goalfor everyone. We’re helping people achieve their individual goals.

“‘Drive’ is something you need to get going every single day to keepon track and ‘Determination’ and ‘Discipline’ are also daily needs toachieve those goals.

“We think that qualifying at Gold Executive wasn’t only significant as afirst step to New York; it also showed the group that we’re not sittingaround waiting for them. We wanted to qualify as a leader. Leading byexample, for us, is incredibly important. Any incentives that involvesponsoring, we want to be winning them! We do the retailing, because it’s good to have the profit, but also because it’s moreimportant to us to show our team how to do something – not to justtell them how to do it.”

The focus and determination of the couple for themselves and theirteam is obvious. But, they’re in no rush to get there. The next step upthe Sales Plan ladder is SED and rather than now race to get there, they’re focusing on getting it right.

“We’ve got an excited team of Distributors at the moment and somegreat leaders coming through, so we’re focusing on helping them. AsJim Rohn once said, we’re making measurable progress in reasonabletime’. For us, that’s what it’s all about.”

HOW ONE FAILURE LED TO THEFIRST STEP TO NEW YORK

“I joined Kleeneze 6 weeks ago, and have just finished my first fullPeriod. My first month as a Kleeneze Distributor has been fantastic!

I started my Kleeneze business, because, being a mum of 2, andhaving one child at school and one at pre-school, I wanted to find away of earning an income around my children.

The more I looked into trying to find employment, the more I realisedthat I was virtually unemployable.

I wanted a job that I could work at from 9.30am to 2.30pmmaximum, 3-5 days a week, probably increasing when my otherdaughter started school in September. I wanted to have weekends offto spend as family time, and school holidays as I haven’t got cover forthose either.

The Kleeneze opportunity fitted all of the criteria that I had for a joblike a glove.

So in my first 4 weeks I hit my first Fast Start Bonus and received 50free catalogues, and have also qualified for my second Fast Start Bonusto receive another 50. I have retailed by myself £2062 in my first 4weeks and have generated over 100 customers, in addition to the 19orders I received from family and friends.

I have also spoken to a large number of my family and friends aboutthe Kleeneze opportunity and in my first 2 weeks sponsored 3Distributors into my team. We enjoyed our first team training sizzle atmy home and I’m already enjoying the social side of Kleeneze.

In terms of being successful in Kleeneze I can see already thatattending the events and training sessions available to learn as muchas possible and to keep motivation high is crucial.

I am looking forward toworking to progress myKleeneze business, am aiminghigh and am hoping toattend the New YorkConference in November– fingers crossed!”

Michaela Williams

“In January we saw a Kleeneze advert on TV. Gary was working parttime as a customer sales advisor and was looking to top his wages upto full-time hours. The fact that Kleeneze meant he could work aroundhis job was perfect. So we invested in the Business Builder 200.

A week later we had £404.75 in orders and were amazed at how easyit had been. We hit Fast Start Bonus 1 well within the time given andset ourselves the target of £1000 in our first period.

Then Gary was laid off and I was told my job with a local authoritycomes to end with the budget cuts at the end of March. If we hadreceived this news 2 weeks earlier we would have been panic stricken. We are both in our 50s and know finding work in the current climatewill not be easy.

However, at the end of our first 4 week period we have retailed £1573and hit not only the Fast Start Bonus 2 but the 13% bonus too. Weare delighted! We have also recruited 1 member into our team.

Our sponsors, Gail and Stuart McKibbin, have been fabulous, supporting us along the wayand helping with any queries orconcerns we have had.

Gary is now a full-time withthe business and we feelconfident that, with thesupport on offer, we canmake this a successfulbusiness to take us up to andbeyond retirement!”
