87 potential sites were analyzed according to the following criteria

– Gross size ≥ 15 ha

– Defined as enterprise zone for industry and service providers by the Saarland

Regional Development Plan

– Potential to be defined as industrial site (important for limit values regarding

noise, lighting, pollution etc.)

– Infrastructure and transport connection

– Possibility to expand

– Possibility to develop the site quickly and efficiently
