ABOUT YOGA

teaching retreats and events in Morocco, Greece and Copenhagen, Denmark.

Classes are vinyasa style: moving consciously through a variation of postures with our own breath as a guide. There is an emphasis on your individual ability and challenges.

The instructions and sequences will be different at every class. Classes are inspiring and safe with attention to correct alignment, flowing movements and exploring the physical body and breath (pranayama). Classes include a final relaxation and some meditation.

Traditional yogic scriptures, ayurvedic knowledge and contemporary spiritual texts inspires the creative sequencing of the class to challenge your mind as well as your body! Options of modifications and variations of postures are given during the class to suit both new yogis and more experienced. Come and be prepared to move, sweat a little, stretch and relax!

Vinyasa flow classes are open for all levels. We offer Beginner’s Courses, Pregnancy Yoga and Postnatal Yoga. And for immersion in yoga join a workshop or retreat. For a customised yoga session book a private session at a place and convenience for you.

Anja is a Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher known for her attentive, fun and creative approach to Yoga. Anja’s classes encourage people to feel empowered and is an inspired combination of physical dynamic movement, breath and meditative practice integrating creative sequencing and safe alignment.

Anja began her yoga practice in the 1990s. Her love for yoga has lead her to study several teacher training programs: Barbara Harding, Seane Corn, Sadie Nardini, Shiva Rea and Sivananda Yoga. Her pre- and postnatal yoga training is inspired by Françoise

Barbira Freedman (Birthlight), Uma Dinsmore Tuli (SitaRam) and Claire Missingham.Through yoga she discovered Ayurvedic Medicine. Ayurveda is the practical application of keeping body and mind healthy through lifestyle, diet and, if necessary, herbs and body treatments. Anja qualified as an Ayurvedic Practitioner BSc and PGDip from Middlesex University and offers treatments and consultations in London.
