1 Billion UPS set a goal to drive

cleaner miles in our alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles by the end of 2017.

We reached that goal a year ahead of schedule.

UPS was one of the first 13 U.S. companies to sign the American Business Act on Climate Pledge launched by the Obama administration in July 2015.

We’re now driving more than million miles each business day in our alternative fuel and advanced technology fleet.

UPS added 1,750 new vehicles to this specialized fleet

full-time work.

Invested more than $11 million

in tuition support for 4,690+ UPSers

through our “Learn & Earn” program.

Grew UPS Business Resource Groups by 49% to

cultivate a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Promoted 4,450 employees into management for

the first time.

UPS employees receive over

3 million hours of safety training each year. In 2015, we spent more than

$844 million on training courses and employees averaged 29 or more hours for the year.

We have hired over 45,700

Economic Enhancement



UPS spent close to $943 million with small and diverse businesses in the U.S. last year. This contributed more than $2.3 billion to the U.S. economy and sustained more than 14,200 jobs, according to a third-party study.
