My English teacher used to say, "Pronun-ciation is your busi-

ness card. You hand it over to your potential customers and employers. Before they have the time to figure out how complex is your Grammar or Vocabulary, they will hear the way you sound, and in many cases that first impression of "looking at your business card" will determine your future success."

I've thoroughly enjoyed learn-ing and perfecting my own pronunciation over the years. I then spent years sharing this passion with my students, but grew continuously disap-pointed that even though they knew how to pronounce sounds, this knowledge had no connection to real life. They still couldn't understand native speakers, and their own fluency was very limited.

It took me some time to discover that pronunciation is not about drilling a student to pronounce isolated sounds and words, it's about devel-oping the ability to under-stand and produce a fluent English speech. This led me to creating this course. If I only had 1 week to teach the most important, practical principles of English pronunciation, I would share these 5 basic principles that you will learn as soon as you enroll:

English words always con-nect to each other. There are no "white spaces" or breaks in oral English! Some sounds are omitted (lost) from the flow of the Eng-lish language. Some sounds are added to the flow of the English language. Some sounds are completely transformed.Conversational English never uses the standard "full Gram-matical forms."Join this course to learn more about these 5 magic principles that will help you gain more confidence and freedom while speaking English. I will explain each principle in a video and then give you a chance to practice using real-life phrases and text excerpts. After the course you will hear and speak English much differently than

Teaching English is my Profes-sion, Purpose, and Passion. In the ten years of my work as a teacher it's never been boring or monotonous. Every lesson is a discovery. Every student is a new world. Every new pro-fessional summit is an impe-tus for this never-ending jour-ney. Five years ago I switched to teaching online, and since then I've gained invaluable experience and empowered over 100 students in a one-to-one format and over 1,000 subscribers.

My job is never defined by teaching Grammar or Vocabu-lary. I am in the business of building up a new future for each of my individual stu-dents.

In the years of teaching I've helped my students to:

Build up confidence speak-ing fluently over a very short period of time (as short as 4-6 months).Understand spoken English as clearly as the written one.Work on their accent to develop better speech clar-ity (using my own developed materials).Develop a love for the lan-guage that they were learn-ing.Learn how to continue main-taining their level of English independently (by offering retainer courses, advice via subscription and my personal

blog).I have successfully taught and developed materials for Russian-speaking students for 5 years, and now I am ready to share my expertise with the rest of the world through my pronuncia-tion and fluency courses.

I am also passionate about on-line education and teacherpre-neurship and am always happy to connect with like-minded ESL professionals for mutual col-laboration and learning.

Become an Android Developer from Scratch

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Do you want to build applica-tions for the most popular operating system in the world?

Do you want the opportunity to put your apps on over 1 bil-lion devices?

"Become An Android Develop-er From Scratch” is designed to be the best first step to launch-ing your career as an Android Developer. Whether you've never programmed before or are coming to mobile develop-ment for the first time, if you're truly inspired to learn Android Development, this is where you need to start.

This course has been in de-velopment for over two years, continuously perfected through research and testing in training bootcamps through-out the US. It represents a col-laboration between a profes-sional educator with over 20 years of experience in helping people learn and a professional mobile developer who has helped companies like Sony, Verizon, and nVidia build stun-ning mobile applications.

Starting with how the Java programming language works and progressing all the way to advanced Android concepts, you will get expertly produced instruction, visually descriptive explanations of deep con-cepts, screencasts that talk you through not just the “how” but

also the “why,” and code challenges to test yourself and mark your progress.

Here’s what students are saying:

“Very clean and well done. Covers everything that you need to know for getting started whether you know how to code starting out or not. If you are at a loss trying to start making android apps this is the course for you.”

“I like this course, this would trans-form any normal person to a full fledged android developer.”

“This one is, by far, the most com-prehensive, easy-to-follow, and genuinely well put together one of the bunch.”

“Inspirational! - got me over the hump (complete android begin-ner)”

Why it’s working...

One of the things we're most excited to offer with this course is access to the inner workings of the mind of a professional mobile developer. Throughout the course you will be able to listen in as our Learning Scientist teases apart all the thoughts that run through a professional mobile developer’s mind as he’s writing the code you will learn to create. It’s like sitting down in a movie with the writer, director, and lead actor. But in this case, it’s all in support of your transformation from novice to professional.

You will build several applications throughout the course, and the starting point for each project (as well as solutions to each challenge) will be available for download. You will also get all the visuals and info-graphics used throughout the course for reference and study.

"Become An Android Developer From Scratch" will give you a new, richer perspective on how mobile devices work. After you’ve com-pleted this rigorous, challenging, and super fun course, you will be able to create your own apps, de-ploy to the Google Play store, and even interview for a job anywhere in the world.

The real value...

The most important thing you will get from completing this course is the confidence to say “I’m an Android Developer!” You’ll be able to interact with other students and professionals in the Android community with pride and self-assuredness. You’ll also become an independent learner, able to discern where to go for information and how to continue advancing your skills.

No course is going to make you into an expert. It’s up to you to challenge yourself and find your path to making the apps you dream about. Become an Android Developer from Scratch is the best place to begin. Are you ready to get started?

Simply the best place to start learning Android Development.

How do you scan and process an Arabic word ef-ficiently?

Are you not learning to read Arabic as quickly as you wanted?

Are you frustrated OR WORSE INTIMIDATED?

Course goals are:

1- Use the 4 power laws to read Arabic more system-atically.

2- Learn how to tune your ears and eyes (prerequisite to course). BONUS

3- Divide the Arabic letters into groups for easier visual recognition (prerequisite to course). BONUS

4- Practice the most diffi-cult Arabic sounds (prereq-uisite to course). BONUS

Now, with these tested techniques (on well over 200 students at New York University and online) I am confident you will not only learn to read Arabic faster

but the process will be MORE LOGICAL hence MORE MEMO-RABLE.

The course will give you the FOUR LAWS that appear in every word you attempt to read in Arabic (one or more of these laws will make up any word).

I am so confident you will feel lucky for discovering this course on THE METHOD TO HOW to read Arabic in ONE WEEK -- or all your money back is guaranteed. These simplified 4 laws will decode the Arabic reading process. But, you must use the laws “simultaneously” (i.e. all laws together) so be prepared to put in additional time to prac-tice later on.

*******************************************************************************

1- GET EIGHT HOURS of private lessons to practice the Laws (optional and at AN ADDITIONAL FEE). Please send me an email to reserve les-son dates. The outline for the private lessons is as follows:

No where else will you find these 4 laws for learning to read Arabic. You will need to practice each law for speed.

Hi there. I am a life-long learner who thrives on travel, teaching, start-ups, technology and the generous exchange of information. Falooka was built by me with up to 20 international contributors and 200 users tested. The work was ac-knowledged by the United Nations, Johns Hopkins University, and other hot names. Currently I am contemplating a second start-up in New York. Will keep you posted if I go ahead with it or not.

I like to take complex ideas and simplify them for myself, friends, and learners. Conventionalists who are offended by failure, idealists, desire, and calculated risk tend to eyebrow my take on life. I believe in long-term investment and not immediate reward.

I studied in both Cairo and New York Economics, Middle East

Studies, and Information Technol-ogy. I earned a scholarship for my undergraduate and highest honors for my postgraduate.

This story changed the life of so many people

Here today I am wring a storey ,if you found this story good please share it like it .

Once there was a carpenter who was sixty years old. He had com-pleted forty years of service work-ing for his boss. One day he ap-proached his boss and said: “Boss I’d like to retire now. I’ve worked for you for forty years. Now I’d like to spend my time with my chil-dren and grand children.”

The boss being a boss gave him one last assignment. He asked him to work on a house that would take two and a half months to complete. After that he would be given a grand farewell party and a farewell gift. The carpen-ter agreed. ( Wouldn’t you, if you were in the carpenter’s position?) So from the next day he started working on the new project. But now there was a difference in his attitude. He had thought he’d be resting at home and instead was being forced to work. He thought: “Anyway I have to retire now. What does it matter how I do it?” Till now he had worked with total involvement and interest, but now he started working half- half-heartedly. The carpenter who had given his best to his work and career so far, was working on his last project with hardly any inter-est – just to finish the task some-how. And so he applied second grade materials and completed the house in the given time.

The boss came for inspection. While walking towards the house

and before he could reach it, he stopped, took the carpenter’s hand and placing the keys of the house in it said to him, “This house is my gift to you for your forty years of service. The house you were getting ready was for yourself!”

Just think! What could be the carpenter’s feelings? What were the thoughts passing through his mind? “If only – if only I could have known! If only someone had told me that I was making my own house, I wouldn’t have made the worst house of my career but the best. If only I had known….! If only I could now press ctrl z and remodel and remake my house! If only…. If only…. If only…..!!!

Why did I share this story with you? Like the carpenter in the story, we are continuously preparing for our future. Each action, each thought, is carving out our future for us -that future in which we have to live! Some of us decorate our future with good actions in the present, but some of us will be left regretting and saying : “if only… if only…. If only…..!”

If you‘re giving your 100% to the job, you’re paving your way to a sound future, but if you’re not giving your best you’ll be left with “If only!” Similarly, if you’re a student doing your work on time, following a set time table, you’re heading towards a bright future, but if you’re not putting the required efforts now, you’ll

look at others pursuing a successful career and say :“If only…!”

Whoever you might be – a business person, a sports person, a teacher, a parent - you are daily carving out your future with the right efforts and perseverance. Commitment to your work will lead to satisfaction and success, whereas indifference, negli-gence and half-halfheartedness will only result in “If only!”

So start building for your future from this very moment!

Place the bricks of the foundation of your future carefully!

Paint the sketch of your future with effort and right focus!

Carve out your future with dedica-tion!

The choice is yours – do you wish to reach the sky, or land in the pit of remorse?

ALL THE BEST!!!

Thank you and good luck with the futureThanks & Best RegardsHafiz MD NasirCEO ,chairman ,Chief Editor ,Author & Directorwww.pressmediaofindia.comgoodteachnasir@gmail.comHYDERABAD,INDIAPh:917382978623Skype: hmd.nasirTwitter:@nasirulhind

To excel as a trainer, reflect. Always! After your each training course is over, reflect on what you have achieved. Always!

Determine if you have achieved the core outcomes you prom-ised your training will achieve. Ponder if you have developed a new skillset, a new tactic, or found a new, creative way of presenting information.

Benchmark your training course against your best, or the best of someone you admire. Then see how you measured on those benchmarks. You may like to create a visual chart of your suc-cesses against each benchmark. That makes comparing all cours-es over a period (e.g. a year, or a quarter) fun and effortless.

Consider the areas you need to work on for your next course – the whole course, the parts, the content, the methods, the delivery, the learner engage-ment, etc.

You may ask a trusted colleague to sit on your next course as an observer. Often, someone else’s feedback can give us quantum leaps in improvement.

Ask the observer to provide you your points of excellence. And points of concern. Mine is mostly Trainer-Talk-Time. In spite

of being in training and teaching for nearly quarter of a century, I have not been able to manage this vulnerability.

If you want to excel, reflection and continual improvement is the only way forward.

There's something called the prog-ress principle - the ability to make small changes and achieve small wins. You may like to do things bet-ter and differently - one course at a time!

Thought leader Malcolm Gladwell is popularising the 10,000-hour-practice-threshold to achieve excellence. My advice will not be any less!

That means, nearly 15 years of four-hour practice every weekday, with-out getting bored of your work, or being fatigued by it. More on this in another short PowerPoint - How to Win the Gold at Leadership Olym-pics.

If you follow these tips, in 10 simple steps you will be on your way to be a great and an effective trainer. Your trainings would then be more fun and memorable.

Who knows, one day you will be writing a few training tips for the next generation of trainers!

I spent hours and hours research-ing before I found the solution that I now use. Since then I have set up e-commerce websites for several friends and this soon spilled over into paying customers. I started to record videos showing my students how to do each step from a com-plete beginner’s point of view and I have now set up this course to teach a wider audience how to Do It Your-self and save thousands by building their own online shop.

What is Real Personality Development in detail ?

Stephen Covey says that those people are successful who have communica-tion skills. What are

communication skills? Those skills which help people to communicate, convey their message, their views, opin-ions and understand the views, opinions and message of others. These are by them-selves two arts – convey and receive. Listening is also an art which everyone doesn’t have. You need to have pa-tience to listen to another; you need to have the sort of temperament that would make it possible to listen; you need to have the desire, the urge to listen. Seeking knowl-edge is possible for someone who has been blessed by Allah (SWT). Not everyone gets the gift of knowledge. I’ll give you some tips about communication skills. To de-velop communication skills, make it a habit to listen to the debates and lectures of those who speak well. Although we learn to speak quite early in life, we still don’t know even at the age of seventy, what sentence to say when. How many mothers are there who pass away from the world without having expressed to their children how much they

love them. How many children are there who lose their moth-er, but didn’t tell her in her life that they loved her. How many people are there who just can’t explain to their children what they expect of them. We must learn the art of explaining. And how? By first observing those who can communicate properly and convey their message effectively. Choose the right role model and fol-low his footsteps. If someone has succeeded in some field then you can also succeed in that field. Follow the cues he leaves behind. This is the first

step. The second step is when you watch movies, observe the expressions and way of speaking of the characters closely. Human beings can speak with their eyes too. Eyes can express emotions. Each part pf the human being’s face can express something. This happens when we learn how to express ourselves. Just rais-

ing the eye brows can change the implication of a question. ‘Where are you coming from?’ can be asked in different ways conveying different meanings. Learn to use your facial expressions effectively. When you’re listening to someone you should do it with interest and concentration. Nod your head, to show you’re following what the person has to say. Listening atten-tively encourages the speaker. The easiest way of training children is to give time to them at least for an hour and listen to whatever they have to say. They might tell you about what happened at school. You must take them seriously and ask questions to build a rapport and bridge the communication gap between two generations. This gap takes form when parents have no time to spend with, or listen to their children. Parents today have everything except time for their children. And a time comes when children after grow-ing up, have no time to listen to, or understand their parents. This is the scenario today. Besides communication skills what is the next important thing neces-sary for a man’s success? It is self confidence. I’ll give you three tips about how to build confidence in yourself. One is, start with smaller successes – tests, exams in school and then in Boards. Whoever achieves success becomes con-fident too. The next important

Besides communication skills what is the next important thing necessary for a man’s success? It is self confidence. I’ll give you three tips about how to build confidence in yourself. One is, start with smaller suc-cesses – tests, exams in school and then in Boards. Whoever achieves success becomes con-fident too. The next important factor is prayer. Trust in Allah is essential for self confidence. A truthful and good person has more self confi-dence than a liar and cheat. The third step to in-crease self confidence is learn to respect yourself. Self esteem is necessary for self confidence. Those who have self respect and know to value themselves, are more confident. A boy came and told me that no one loves him. I said, ‘No one loves you because you don’t love yourself.’ If you approve of yourself, the world too will approve of you. Self approval is necessary for self confidence. We have dis-cussed three factors – character, communication skills and self confidence. The fourth factor for personal-ity development is knowledge. Increase your knowledge not only in your own field but also in other fields. To increase your knowledge read autobiogra-phies. When you read these, you will realize how people

who were like us achieved success in their life. Next, read those novels which give you a perspective about society and about history. One who reads his-tory can also make a name for himself in history. Become an example for oth-ers. The third way if increasing is to read faces. Understand what people express through their faces. Observation fol-lowed by reflection gives a lot of knowl-edge of life.Question 1. Is it possible to develop one’s personality by following a role model?

Allah Has asked us to make our Prophet our role model. That means it is pos-sible to follow him and achieve success. “An amta Alaihim” Who were the ones who earned Allah’s rewards? We have to follow their path. The secret lies in our urge. To what extent did we strive in the right direction? Passion alone can reduce the distance between where you are today and the goal you have to reach. Passion leads you to sacrifice; passion makes you strive and passion can take you to your destination.Question 2. Why do some people fail in spite of having knowledge?Remember, we can load a number of books on the donkey’s back but he will still remain a donkey. Knowledge by itself is meaningless unless it is put into practice. Intention followed by actual deeds is what is required. Bill Gates wasn’t much educated. Yet he succeed-ed in life. Coming out of the university he had told his friend: “Today I’m going

to do that which the university can’t make me do. I’ll do that which no one can conceive.” And he made all his dreams successful by starting Microsoft.Question 3 - difference between knowledge and information – This has been appropriately described by our Prophet (SAWS) as knowl-edge that is beneficial ‘Ilm e nafe’. Information that doesn’t bring about a change in you is of no use. Knowledge is that which changes you for the better.

Question 4 - How can we keep our inspiration constant? Can anyone say that we need to comb our hair just once in life?

Or take a bath just once? Just as we fulfill all our physical needs daily, we need to keep our motivation for intellectual needs and develop-ment constant. For this we need a vision – clarity of vision. Two ways of keeping motivation alive – clar-ity of goal and charging it from the source that can charge it – prayer for some; attending seminars for some; good books for some; meet-ing teachers for some. Maintain a link with those who have suc-ceeded in spite of odds. Read about them and their lives. Company matters – A hadith says that if you enter a perfume shop, whether you apply perfume or not, the scent will accompany you; and if you enter a coal shop, your clothes will get black. So inspire yourself with the right company.

Did you learn these 9 critical leadership truths?

As I was visiting my children’s school*, I was struck by 9 critical

leadership truths that were being promoted. What im-pacted me was the fact that as a leadership coach and consultant, I am often talking about these very same quali-ties and skills with my ‘adult’ clients. The image above (taken by my daughter, Tasha) shows the school’s ideal stu-dent with a combination of qualities and skills – wouldn’t it be great if managers and leaders valued the same qualities and worked on their skills?

Leaders, and children de-velop from the inside-out (Bryant & Kazan 2012) and so it is great that being self-aware is promoted. The school sees self-awareness as developing self-discipline, self-esteem, self-confidence, reflection – all great qualities for today’s leader. With self-awareness we can become a self-manager which includes the skills of; metacognition, independence, perseverance, diligence, organization and responsibility.

If you were to get a report card on your ability to self-manage, how would you and your team do?

Do you use your metacogni-tive skills to define your own goals, monitor progress, reflect and adjust your ap-proach to improve results?

Are your people able to work inde-pendently and safely towards a goal without direct oversight? Can they organize their time and resources to manage a workload and complete a task?

Qualities of Leadership

If you ascribe to the maxim, “you can’t lead others unless you first lead yourself”, then I think you will agree that the following qualities are important:

Principled - Acting with integrity and honesty with a strong sense of fairness and respect for self and the dignity of others.

Resilient - Able to anticipate, perse-vere and confront challenges.

Commitment to Care – Demonstrat-ing stewardship, caring, empathy, compassion, open-minded, service and sustainability.

What would your organization be like if everybody had these qualities? How would this change the culture? I think we, too often, focus on the skills of our employees when hiring and then bemoan that they don’t have these qualities after an issue arises. I salute my children’s school for focusing on culture first and then developing the skills.

Leadership Skills

In today’s rapidly changing work environment, the skills we need include:

Critical thinking and Problem solving – Be able to critically solve complex problems based upon informed and

ethical decisions

Creativity and Innovation - Be able to think creatively to produce original work, or to develop innovative ideas.

Collaborative – To work collaboratively in diverse settings to learn and lead by influence.

Communicator - To communicate ef-fectively according to audience and purpose.

The most skilled engineers, technicians, financiers, legal or medical profes-sionals, will all limit their promotion and success potential if they do not develop these 3 skills as well as self-management.

My children are being educated, there-fore I am wealthy” – Indian ProverbI am grateful that my son, aged 7, and daughter, aged 9, are growing up in a culture that promotes both quali-ties and skills. And I am optimistic that many of the organizations I work for are waking up to the fact that ‘Maximizing Shareholder Value’ promotes the very opposite qualities and skills.

A growing number of CEO’s, including; Jack Welch (GE), Jack Ma (Alibaba), Paul Polman (Unilever) and most recently Marc Benioff (SalesForce), are going on record as saying that maximizing share-holder value is idiotic and we must move to maximizing stakeholder value.

“The competitive advantage you gain from being a caring and sharing com-pany is significant,” Benioff wrote in his 2004 book, Compassionate Capitalism. “It instills in your people a higher integ-rity level. In turn, stakeholders want to be associated with a company that has heart.”

How to optimize LinkedIn profile to make it more marketable

Like many of the other social media networks, LinkedIn is evolving as well, and what was once your pro-file is now a far more versatile tool. Let’s look at some of the many ways you can take advan-tage of this.

Don’t treat it like Facebook – LinkedIn is a professional social network-ing site, and you need to reek of professionalism and credibil-ity. The things you’d share on Facebook, even your Face-book business page probably aren’t the best choice here.

Make your photos stand out – If you don’t already have a professional headshot, get one. The image can be bigger now, so make sure you are portrayed as you would be when meeting with a client, because you might be! Don’t be overly serious either, as you need to come across as someone likeable that they would like to work with.

Work on your headline – Since you now only have 120 characters to work with, you need to consider carefully what you say here. You get to portray you brand, and inject

your best keywords here as well.

Drop links judiciously – While the only clickable links will be in your Contact Information which is some-what hidden, you may want to mention your sites in your summary as well. They won’t be able to click to your site, but at least you’re represent-ed there.

Frame your focus – Consider your goals carefully here, and use your summary sec-tion to convey this. It’s now above the fold, so what you put here is important

Craft your Contact Informa-tion carefully – This is all now available in the Contact Info tab. You need to think of this as your business card on LinkedIn, and treat it as such.

ALL THE BEST!!!
