IMMA JAW CRUSHERS

The jaw crusher squeezes rock between tworidged surfaces (jaws/toggle) which taper toform a funnel. In most designs one jaw is fixedwhile the other oscillates at a rate ofsomewhere around 3 times a second. Pieces ofrock that are larger than the opening at thebottom of the jaw lodge between the two metalplates of the jaw, and the motion of theoscillating jaw against the fixed jaw continuesto pound the lodged pieces until they arebroken into pieces small enough to dropthrough the opening at the bottom.

IMMA Jaw Crusher consists of a set of verticaljaws, one jaw being fixed and the other beingmoved back and forth relative to it by a pitman mechanism. IMMA manufactures single toggle jaw crushers, are constructed of heavy duty fabricated plate frames with reinforcing ribs throughout. The crusher’s components are of high strength design to accept high horsepower draw. Austenitic manganese steel is used for both fixed and movable jaw faces. IMMA IMPACT CRUSHERS (VSI – HDK – PDK)

The impact crushers are usually used assecondary or tertiary crushing purposes. IMMAalso supplies a primary impact crusher to use theadvantages of impact crushing. Impact crushersinvolve the use of impact rather than pressureto crush material. The material is containedwithin a cage, with openings on the bottom, end,or side of the desired size to allow pulverizedmaterial to escape.

In Horizontal Shaft Impactor, the incoming feeddrops vertically through the chamber, strikes therotating rotor or impeller bars and is fracturedwithin the chamber. Due to this severe impactingof material, an HSI realizes up to a 20 to 1reduction ratio. The setting of an HSI is arbitraryand depends on the curtain setting.
