Create an account or login via an existing account.

My Library –All bookmarks. Search for or click on a tag to find a specific website.

My Lists –Collection of bookmarks. These are different from TAGS, because you have control over the order of their appearance on the list.

A list – Items within the list can be dragged to different positions in the sort-order.

DIIGO

My Groups –Create groups to share with friends and colleagues. Save bookmarks that you feel would be helpful to other members of a group directly to that group.

Install a diigolet on any computer (public, a friend’s, your own) to have quick access to the bookmarking function.

Be sure your bookmarks or favorites toolbar is turned on, and follow the instructions that match your browser.

Once installed, click on Diigolet whenever you wish to bookmark a page.

DIIGO

Then click on Bookmark, and fill in the form. Remember to use tags to keep your bookmarks organized. This window also allows you to save websites to lists and groups.

Choose Highlight to point out particular areas of the text.

Add notes to your highlights – for your personal use, or to share with groups or the public.

Diigo Toolbar – Use this on your personal or office computers.

Even more functionality than the diigolet…

DIIGO

Take a snapshot of all or part of a web page by using the capture button

This is useful in recording the content of a web page that changes often, such as a news website.

DIIGO

SEND – Sends link to email, Facebook, Twitter, blogs, and more.

READ LATER – Creates a bookmark that is marked as “UNREAD” .

DIIGO

The sidebar icon opens up a sidebar on the left with quick access to your bookmarks.

DIIGO

Apply for an Educator Account in order to create student groups and accounts for your classes.
