The world’s natural wonders differ from the other grouping of wonders. They were not made or improved by humans. They actually humble humanity. The local native peoples have known these wonders for millennia, however this list came to the notice of the western world recently

Today, these wonders have become places of

pilgrimage, where awe is its own reward.

The Mount EverestMt. Everest at an altitude of 8,848m (29028ft) has been recognized as Top of the universe because it is the earth’s highest point. Annually thousands of tourists assemble to spend blissful moment in the mountain. This outstanding peak is the prime attraction among all. First scaled by Sir Edmond Hillary and Late Tensing Norgay Sherpa in 1953, since then it has been dream for every adventure seeker to reach on its summit.

The Great Barrier ReefThe Great Barrier Reef is the largest coral reef in the world, roughly parallel to the coast of Queensland, Australia, for almost 2,000km. Australia has almost 1/5th of the world's reef area and most is located in the (GBR) Great Barrier Reef.

The Grand CanyonA powerful and inspiring landscape, the Grand Canyon overwhelms our senses through its immense size. Unique combinations of geologic color and erosional forms decorate a canyon that is 277 river miles (446km) long, up to 18 miles (29km) wide, and a mile (1.6km) deep.

Victoria FallsThe Victoria Falls constitutes one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world. The Local people call it "Mosi-oa-Tunya" -- the smoke that thunders and the Falls are remarkable. There is a magic about them manifested in the towering column of spray when the river is high, the thunder of the falling water, the terrifying abyss and tranquil lagoons upstream in which hippo and deadly crocodiles lurk.

The Harbor of Rio de JaneiroRio de Janeiro Harbor, River of January, is considered as one of the seven wonders of the natural world. It has been known as one of the most beautiful natural harbors. People admired the geology so much that they said, “God made the world in six days and on the seventh, he concentrated on Rio .” The climate is wonderful. The beaches are free to everyone.

Paricutin VolcanoParicutin Volcano , or the Volcan de Paricutin in Mexico has originated recently, and is one of the natural wonders whose birth, growth and death have been well recorded. The eruption that created Paricutin began in 1943 and continued until the year 1952. The first year covered most of the explosive activity and the cone grew to a height of 1,100 ft. and although it wasn't as cataclysmic as the fall of Pompeii, it changed forever the lives of the inhabitants of Paricutin.

The Northern LightsNorthern lights is the name of a light phenomenon often seen in the northern regions. The lights have been around since Earth formed an atmosphere -the dinosaurs saw it, early humans saw it and our descendants will se it. The scientific name for the phenomenon is “Aurora Borealis”, aurora for short.
