Paricutin Volcano

• Located in Mexico• It last erupted in 1952• It is 10,400 feet tall• It is a monogenetic volcano• When the eruption happened nearby villages

were covered by lava and ash


The Grand Canyon• Located in Arizona• It is 277 miles long• The deepest part of it is about one mile deep• Carved by the Colorado River• It took six million years


Mt. Everest• Mt. Everest is the tallest point in our planet• It is located in Nepal• It is 29,029 feet tall• It is covered in snow, so its cold• It is the Tallest Mountain in the world


Northern Lights• The Northern Lights are located in Alaska• Its made by Three things: Solar Wind,

Magnetosphere, and The earth's atmosphere• The Northern Lights are constantly in motion• The colors in the Northern Lights are Red, Green,

Blue, and Violet


Victoria Falls• Victoria Falls is a Waterfall• Is located in southern Africa on the Zambezi River• Its 360 feet tall• It is 400 feet wide


The Great Barrier Reef• The largest coral reef system in the world• It has 900 islands• Made of 2,900 individual reefs• It can be seen from outer space• Located in Australia


The Harbor at Rio De Janerio• Located in Brazil• In Guanabara Bay• Sugar loaf mountain looks over the bay• It is a great place to go on vacation
