I used blogger to write my blog and I found it confusing at first but after a while it became easier to use Blogger allows you to be creative as it lets you pick your own

background and templates as well as it being organized clearly

The blogger app was helpful as it allowed quick access if I needed to upload something straight from my iPad like a picture

These are the two websites in which I got my copyright free music

from to use in my opening sequence

Incompetech was used to download our main track which was called Come Play With Me

This played throughout the opening sequence and fit our genre well

FreeSFX was used to download sound effects

such as the parents arguing in the

background in the flashback scene

PowerPoint

I used PowerPoint to display most of my tasks for the three stages of production but mostly pre-production PowerPoint allows for a clear structure and displays clear images

Prezi

I used Prezi to try out different ways to display my research planning or evaluation I ended up only using it in evaluation question 6 as I found the space provided was very limited and

imaged werent clear enough However I did like the way it was presented

Like IMDb I also used Wikipedia to research information about films and their companies I also used Wikipedia to research general information about psychological horrors and clowns

ArtOfTheTitle was used to watch existing opening sequences that are in sub genre of psychological horror or just general horror This was to give me ideas and inspiration for my

own opening sequence

I used YouTube to search for videos which I could then embed onto my blog using the embedding code in the share section

I also used it to watch previous AS opening sequences and tutorials on filming and editing techniques

BBFCI used the bbfc which stands for The British Board of Film Classification to help me understand the different age ratings and to pick a rating for my opening sequence

Final Cut Pro

iMovie

Final Cut was used to edit all of our drafts including the final draft This is a more complex program however a better more advanced program which allowed us

to edit in a more professional way

iMovie was used to edit the evaluation question 1 This program is less advanced as it has less functions

I used survey monkey to ask the general audience what they expect about the horror genre It was an easy website to use and allows you to be creative as you can choose the format
