Who am I targeting?

• I’m aiming to target people from the age 15-25. This because it’s a maturing age and it’s also the age where people are into magazines and gossip. • I will not be targeting any specific gender group. The

magazine will cater to both genders as the magazine would sell more copies when both genders are buying it.

Language used?

• I have used formal language in my magazine as the target audience does go above twenty years old.• No slang was used in order to make it seem like a more

professional magazine. The genre K-pop is seen as positive and joyful music where the singers are normally dressed in classy and expensive clothes. Therefore it would not seem right to use slang in this magazine.

Language used example.

• An example would be the rapper ‘Eminem’. Slang could be used in the magazine as it is used in rap and hip-hop songs. • This would relate to the audience but k-pop artists are not

generally from poor backgrounds and don’t use any slang in their songs so therefore it would seem inappropriate to use slang in my music magazine.
