  • 1. Observational and Perceptual Learning

2. Learning By Observation 3. Process of learning by watching other peoples behavior. Observational learning is also called imitation or modeling that is learning that occur when a person observes and imitates someones behavior. Through observational learning, one can profit from other experiences. 4. The role of observational learning is considered important in that much of our behavior can be learned through modeling (a mechanism that enables a person to learn complex social cognitive behaviors by observations and imitation of others). 5. The Secret Game 6. Bandura Enumerated various learning mechanisms that are essential in observational learning: 7. Albert Bandura Born December 4, 1925, in Mundare, Albe rta, Canada. Enumerated various learning mechanisms that are essential in observational learning: 8. Albert Bandura, a social learning theorist suggested that the forces of memory and emotions worked in conjunction with environmental influences. Bandura was known mostly for his "bobo doll". 9. A Bobo doll is an inflatable toy that is about 5 feet tall and is usually made of a soft durable vinyl or plastic. The bobo doll was most often painted to look like a clown. The doll was designed to be bottom weighted so that if it were hit, it would fall over then immediately lift back up to a standing position. It first came on the market in the 1960's. 10. The Bobo Doll 11. Learning Mechanisms ATTENTION RETENTION ABILITY TO REPRODUCE THE BEHAVIOR REINFORCEMENT 12. ATTENTION 13. Refers to attending to what the model is saying or doing before he/she can reproduce a models action. It is important that one pays attention closely to what is happening around him. One cannot learn unless he pays reasonable close attention to what is happening around him. 14. Read The Color, Not The Word !!! 15. Refers to coding information and keeping it in memory for retrieval in order to reproduce a models actions. It is only important to attend closely to the observed behavior, but also to remember it at some later time. 16. Holding on to what has been learned so it can be utilized later as in recall, or if retention is partially learning. 17. Counting the Fs 18. Only great minds can read this!! This is weird, but interesting! If you can raed this, you have a sgtrane mnid too Can you raed this? Olny 55 plepoe out of 100 can. I cdnuolt blveiee that I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd what I was rdanieg. The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr in what oerdr the ltteres in a word are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is that the frsit and last ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can still raed it whotuit a pboerlm. This is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the word as a wlohe. Azanmig huh? Yaeh and I awlyas tghuhot slpeling was ipmorantt! 19. A Short Neurological Test 1. Find the C below.. Please do not use any cursor help. One must be capabl e of doing 21. Jama Jama 22. Motivation 23. One is likely to imitate those he sees are rewarded for the behavior; and whom he likes to have similarities with or value more. 24. Another process involved in observational learning. We might attend to a model and code in memory what we have seen but because of limitations in motor development we might not be able to reproduce the models action. 25. Reinforcement or incentive condition is the final process in Banduras conception of observational learning. The association of stimulus particularly the anticipation of rewards as a motivational factor. 26. Perceptual Learning or Insight Learning Perceptual Learning or Insight Learning 27. Is learning involving change in perception in which the learner comes to know something about the stimulus situation that he did not know before. It is a kin to insight, a relatively sudden and rather radical change in the way a situation is perceived a reorganization of the perceptual field. 28. Survey- survey din tayo pag may time??? 29. OBSERVATIONAL LEARNING - is objective and based on what you observe. PERCEPTUAL LEARNING - - is based on what you perceive or understand and more of PHILOSOPHICAL. Jurjhemo Bellen 36. OBSERVATIONAL LEARNING -learning one thing or a happening through observing (parang sa pag'oobserve ng isang bagay, marami tayong natututuhan) PERCEPTUAL LEARNING -the condition of being aware, insight, intuition or knowledge gained By Perceiving (parang throught awareness in the surroundings or awareness in a situation were in we gain or we learn new knowledge.) April Jean Madridano 37. OBSERVATIONAL LEARNING - through observation we learn. PERCEPTUAL LEARNING - through our own doings we learn. Ma. Elaine Malate 38. OBSERVATIONAL LEARNING - it is the ability to know certain Ay! to have...... Wait lang Wag muna ako !!!!! Farrah Mae Berganio 39. OBSERVATIONAL LEARNING -Para sa akun is parang may malaking role siyang ginagampanan tapos isa siyang common type of learning kung saan nagsisimula noong mga bata pa tayo Because children grow and learn through observation and also Children's are great imitators and turn to knowledge. PERCEPTUAL LEARNING -Are learned through organizing parang ganun. ah! ok wait bili muna ako ng pagkain Louise Angelica Cabug 40. Observational learning -you learn as you observe stuff. Perceptual learning -learning based from your perception. Sorry if I'm not much of a help. Haha Elizabeth Jemly Baliguat 41. Thank You for
