Warner Brothers is an American producer of film, television and music entertainment. It was founded in 1923 by the four brothers: Harry, Sam, Jack and Albert Warner.

Paramount Pictures is a film studio, television production company and motion picture distributor. Paramount pictures was found on May 8th 1912 by Adolph Zukor.

The Walt Disney Company is an American Mass Media co-operation. It is located in California. Disney was founded on October the 16th 1923 by Walt and Roy O. Disney and is the largest media conglomerate in the world.

The person who gives instructions to the actors and other people working on a film or play. They will make the creative decisions , they are the leader! Michael Bay – Transformers 4

Director: Writer:The writer is the person that creates the screenplays for the film, this person will tell the actors how to say the lines and when to say them.Ehren Kruger – Transformers 4

Camera man:The role of a camera man is to establish shots of a film or T.V. programme. The camera man is usually working under the directors orders or with the director to decide the best shots or angles to use.

Editor:An editor is responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting to the audience.

Producer:The role of a producer is to make sure that the film is completed on time and within budget. This will include supervising and packaging the project from start to finish and even distributing the film to cinemas when project is completed.

Is an independent, non governmental body which has classified cinema films since it was set up in 1912, and since 1984 it started classifying Videos and DVDs since the ‘Video Recordings Act’ was passed. It stands for ‘The British Board of Film Classification’

Radio Industry definition and key companies The Radio industry is all the Radio companies involved in producing and distributing Radio stations.

BBC 1 was launched on the 2nd November 1936 as the ‘BBC Television Service’. The radio station covers the UK, Isle of Man and the Channels isles.

Fire radio station is an English radio station based in Bournemouth. It was founded in 1999 by James Bromley and David Harper. The radio station covers Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.

BBC Radio Solent is the Local BBC radio station for the Isle of White, Hampshire and Dorset. It is based in Southampton and was founded on 31st December 1970.

Radio Producer – Key rolesRadio Producer: Radio Producers are responsible for the audio content of broadcasts via the radio, internet and any other radio platforms. They are heavily involved in the whole process, from generating ideas to managing the audiences response once the programme has finished. The specific roles of a radio producer can vary depending on the programme being aired, they can take the roles of reporters or presenters.

Radio presenter:Radio Presenters are responsible to host shows on radio or the internet which revolve mainly around music, conversation, interviews and stories. They will have to plan what they will be talking about off air so that they can keep the show flowing and entertain their audience.

Radio Researcher:A radio researcher provides support to the producer and production team. A researcher can work on a wide variety of programmes or within one subject area. The roles will include researching, organising and planning everything that will be on the radio programme.

OFCOM is the Governing body of all radio sectors. It is responsible for protecting people from scams and sharp practises while using communications services. OFCOM operates under a few Acts of Parliament such as the Communications Act 2003. it was initially established in 2002 and then went on to achieve its full authority in 2003. it is located in London , UK.

Wave 105 is a UK based Radio station that broadcasts across the south of England. It plays a mix of music and also includes local news and information , entertainment guides and competition s and presenter-led shows. Their first ever broadcast was on the 14th June 1998. they're owned by a company called Bauer Radio.

The print industry is the people that produce magazines, newspapers, books etc.

The daily Telegraph is a daily broadsheet newspaper that is published in London and distributed all over the UK and internationally. The newspaper was founded by Arthur B. Sleigh in June 1855.

The sun is a daily tabloid newspaper the is distributed throughout the UK and Ireland. It is the second largest Saturday newspaper in the UK. It was founded in 1964 and is edited by David Dinsmore

OK! is a weekly magazine specialising in celebrity news. Their first issue was published in April 1993 and is edited by Kirsty Tyler.

Print Production Manager:Print production managers supervise an organization's printing process for projects such as magazine advertisements or direct mail promotions. Generally managers have a degree in graphic design or any other similar subject. They would normally have a few years work of experience related to the managers role.

Photographer:a photographer is somebody that takes photos and then edits them to make them look more aesthetically pleasing. Most professional photographers specialise in one certain area of photography such as fine art, fashion or advertising. A photographer can take photos for special events such as weddings or birthdays. Photographer don’t really need and specific qualifications to do the job but the equipment that is used is expensive.

Magazine features Editor:a magazine features editor is responsible for the content and quality that is put into the product and makes sure that the stories are engaging and informative. Magazine features editors do not always need specialist knowledge of the subject they cover, unless the content is highly technical, although an interest in the subject is usually expected.

HELLO! Magazine is very similar to OK magazine, they both specialise in celebrity news and gossip. Its first published copy was distributed 1988 by publisher Eduardo Sánchez Junco and is linked with Mexican magazine ‘HOLA!’

TV industry is all the companies that make and broadcast the shows to the channels. The company that charge them is OFCOM.

The BBC was the world's first national broadcasting organisation. It was founded on the 18th October 1922 by John Reithe as the British broadcasting company.

Sky TV was a PLC which operated four channel satellite television services. It was founded 5th February 1989 by Chris Murdoch. On 16 January 1984 the channel was renamed Sky Channel. Rupert Murdoch expanded sky’s programming line up which provided a mix of English-language sports and entertainment shows

BT TV is a subscription service offered by BT Group in the United Kingdom, originally launched as BT Vision. BT vision was founded in December 2006 by BT Group.

Key RolesAgency Assistant: Works under the company CEO as an assistant to the firm. They will be required to manage day-to-day activities in the office, as well as mailings, maintain and build client relations, media public relations, and any other duties assigned by their managers.

Accounting AssistantPerforms work in support of company accounts and uses financial management software to do this. This person must organise, analyse, and verify financial and statistical data as well as perform related work as assigned by their managers.

Assistant Director:The Assistant director is the director's right hand man, taking any responsibility for a number of important tasks so that the director is free to concentrate on the more important tasks. During pre-production, the Assistant director will break down the script into a shot by shot storyboard, and work with the director to decide the shoot order, and how long each scene will take to film.
