How did you attract/address your audience?

A school environment is used to attract the young audience as the socialising life and enjoying college moments attracts the ages 15+. Also using a college as a location emphasis on our characters problems due to her surroundings. The college in our film is shown to be spacious and empty which could imply that anything can happen which draws the audience’s attention.

Libraries are usually silent and empty therefore it creates a sense of entrapment in the library which builds the tension up for the audience which attracts them.

Also the use of the different bright and dull colours enhance on the characters surroundings which engage the audience. Also the settings in a college which makes the audience feel suspicious, as a college is filled with enjoyment and independence but due to

it being a thriller they understand that something will corrupt that happiness.

The sounding used for the title at the end is very powerful, this is due to the high percussion, synth and heartbeat fasting up the pace of the sound, which suddenly slows down and one beat of the cymbal drops and then the title. This sound at the end rises the pressure for the audience
