STANDARD MAINTENANCE PRACTICES:

• PERIODIC CHECKING OF OIL LEVEL IN THE RESERVOIR.• PERIODIC CLEANING OF SUCTION STRAINER.• RETURN LIFE FILTER ELEMENT TO BE CHANGED AFTER

INITIAL 100 HOURS AND AT 500 HOURS THERE AFTER.• PERIODIC ANALYSIS OF OIL SAMPLE TO CHECK THE

CONTAMINATION LEVEL.• FLUSHING OF THE SYSTEM AFTER MAJOR BREAK DOWN

AND RESTART.• ENSURE PROPER TYPE AND QUANTITY OF SPARE ITEMS

AND PROPER STORAGE.• DO NOT REFILL THE SYSTEM WITH ANY FLUID THAT HAS

LEAKED OUT.• DO NOT MIX TWO DIFFERENT GRADES / MAKES OF OIL.

PROBABLE CAUSE REMEDY

The line pressure is out of the rated pressure range of the seals.

Check the seal if it meets with the use for the line pressure, if not replace it.

Seal is not compatible with the oil. Either swelling or shrinkage can occur due to chemical reaction . Change the seals to the particular type of oil used

Deformation due to shelf life of seals.

Flatness or hardness may change or degradation can occur since the seals have a specific shelf life.

The finish of the surface which interfaces with the seal is improper.

Check the surface of roughness, burrs & contaminant particles on the area.Refinishes the surface, get rid of burrs, clean the surface area.

Unless your air compressor is an oil free compressor, do not operate without lubricant or with inadequate lubricant. Manufacturers and the company from whom you bought it from cannot be responsible for failure do to inadequate lubrication. 1.Ensure unit is off and disconnect from the power source2.Ensure compressor is on a flat and level surface3.Remove fill cap / plug4.Inspect the oil in the crankcase assembly and look for dirt or debrisOil should not exceed the halfway point of the sight glass

Remember, the compressor pump head and surrounding parts are HOT! Ensure unit is off and disconnect from the power source

Ensure compressor is on a flat and level surface

Remove fill cap / plug

Place collection container underneath the oil drain cap.

Remove the oil drain cap, and let the oil drain out.

Replace the oil cap and be sure to tighten this nut securely. Teflon tape is

generally a good idea to help create a tighter seal. Fill crankcase with

appropriate oil, be sure it does not exceed the halfway point.

1.Ensure unit is off and disconnect from the power source2.Allow compressor pump to cool off. 3.Unscrew the filter top from the filter base by turning (generally) counter-clockwise. 4.Separate the filter top cover from the base.5.Remove the element from the filter base6.Blow out dust and debris from the filter element. 7.Replace element if needed. Reconnect filter top to the base and secure filter.
