As for the component of the New Pre-Service Teacher Education Curriculum, the subject EDFS 24 entitled EDUCATIONAL FIELD STUDY 4 aims to expose the students to actual field experiences that
will redound to transformational, experiential and contextual development of our pre-service-teachers. This course shall help the education students verify the behavior of the child in the actual classroom setting.
As one of our strategic partners in the development of the future educators and being one of the
recognized academic institutions in the Province of Cavite, may we request permission from your good office for us to conduct pre-service trainings in your school.

EDUCATIONAL FIELD STUDY 4
Credit: 1 unit Duration: 17 hours
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is intended to inteoduce the education pre-service students to effective curriculum design and assessment. The course topics include curriculum models, principles and approaches in
designing, delivering and addressing the curriculum
It emphasizes familiarity with contemporary curriculum policies and framework and their relevance or planning, pedagogy and assessment at the classroom level.
The course in curriculum development shall develop teachers who can adjuct and be flexible indesigning and implementing curricula in learning environments for different students in different
context. It may also apply a wide range of teaching process skills (including curriclum development,
lesson planning, material development, educational assessment and pedagogy)
Field Study 4 is anchored on Curriculum Development and Educational Technology.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
1. Design a model of curriculum demonstrating considerations for basic and higher education, appropriate community linkages, and stakeholders
2. Address the monitoring of curriculum implementation and assessment of curriculum
3. Prepare an alignment of developing objectives, pedagogy and assessment
