Every person in the World wants to be strong, clever and, of course, happy!

Are you strong? Are you happy in your life? What makes you strong and happy?

Now, lets subdivide in pairs. You will be given sheets of paper and your task is to create a cluster, which will illustrate different ways to be strong, clever and happy. You are given 5 minutes.

2. look at the blackboard, please. You can see several people, they are different, they have different jobs, friends and hobbies, but they all are eager to be happy, strong and smart.

Now, looking at the pictures on the blackboard, discuss in pairs what makes these people happy, strong and smart and be ready to share your opinions with your classmates.

Thank you very much! Well - done! You know perfectly well, that in order to be strong some people do exercises, to be smart – they go to the library, to be happy – they love their friends and relatives, have hobbies, meet with interesting people and so on.

Look at the screen, please. There is a model text by Mr. Brainy, who advises us what to do if you want to be strong, clever and happy.

What is the text about? Have you understood everything? Do you want to follow these pieces of advice? What do you think, is it important to love people around in

order to be happy? Did you guess the meaning of the words Should and Must

not?

( students: should means следует, must not – не должен.

The teacher: yes, right you are! They are modal verbs. )

Do you like the model text? Now we will change it! ( The teacher ask the

Ss to write down different verbs such as to smile, play with a dog, chat with friends, watch documentaries, dance…The verbs that can make a person happy, strong and smart. Then the teacher asks the Ss to change the content of the model - text with the help of the verbs, written on the sheets if paper.

Ss practice in pairs and they are given 5 minutes.

Who wants to be the speaker and to read the model text out loud?

One of the students is reading the poem in front of the class.

Now, you will get the roles and read your text according to them:

a doctor a child Your mum A teacher

Imagine that we are living in 2060 year…how people will look like in the future? What will they do? I think they will look different in comparison with us, but the only thing I am sure of is that our future generation will be eager to be happy, strong and smart too. Do you agree with me?

Now let’s write the letters for our future generation and advise them how to be happy.

( students are creating their own poems )

The students are reading their model texts in front of the class.

Don’t forget to put your letters in the envelopes and we will keep them for our future generation!

The teacher throws the small ball to the students and ask them questions about the lesson:

What new have you learnt today? What should we do to be smart?

Strong? Happy? Are you happy? What do you think? Do you agree that we should smile

more to be happy?
