Introduction The objective of this use-case document is to enable first time users to acquaint with Royal Enfield
Service Information Portal.
The document provides step-by-step guidance with applicable screenshots for every process or use-
case.
The use-cases are mapped as per the process flow for a new user to register, login, subscribe and
manage their accounts.
The schematic representation of the process flow given below;
NOTE: Use case maps for RMI portal is available in the RMI portal under “General Content” link.

1. Service Information Portal Overview The overview of the Service Information portal is as below;
New User Registration - New users (IO Legal Representative & IO Employee) registration
User Login - Existing user login
Policies - Users can view the Privacy policy, Terms of Use and Line of
Business statements
Software Requirement - The minimum software required to view the RMI portal
Important Contacts/Use Case Map - Provides important Royal Enfield contact details and Use Case
Map to use the RMI portal

2. IO Legal Representative Registration The IO legal representative of a company can register in the service information portal. Once the
registration is submitted, the Royal Enfield Admin has the authority to accept or reject the
registration as appropriate. And the IO legal representative will be informed about the status of his
registration accordingly.
Once the user fills in all the mandatory fields (*), the user has to check the tick box at the bottom
of the page accepting that he agrees to the policies; Privacy policy, Terms of Use and Line of
Business. And then click the “Submit” button.
If there are any mandatory fields not populated, an error is displayed below the respective field
box.
On successful submission of the registration, an acknowledgement is provided to the user. The
registration acceptance or rejection mail from Royal Enfield is sent to the email id provided by the
user. Post which the user can use his login credentials to log on to the RMI portal.

3. IO Employee Registration An IO Employee of a company can register in the service information portal only after an IO
legal representative of the same company has already registered. The user has to ensure that the
company name has to “exactly” match with the name provided by the IO legal representative.
Once the user fills in all the mandatory fields (*), the user has to check the tick box at the bottom
of the page accepting that he agrees to the policies; Privacy policy, Terms of Use and Line of
Business. And then click the “Submit” button.
If there are any mandatory fields not populated, an error is displayed below the respective field
box.

are two levels of approval before an IO employee can successfully register. First the IO legal
representative has to approve or disapprove the registration. Second, once approved by the IO
legal representative, Royal Enfield has the authority to accept or reject the registration. The
registration acceptance or rejection mail from Royal Enfield is sent to the email id provided by the
user. Post which the user can use his login credentials to log on to the RMI portal.

4. IO Legal Representative/IO Employee Login An IO legal representative or an IO employee can login to the service information portal once
they have successfully registered in the portal.
Click on the “Login” icon and enter the login credentials (received in his registered email id) to
log in to the portal.

5. IO Legal Representative/IO Employee – Forgot Password An IO legal representative or an IO employee who has forgot his login password can select the
“Forgot password” link next to the login button. The user has to provide the email address he/she
had used while registering in the portal.
On entering the correct email address, a password reset link is sent to the registered email address
from where the user can set a new password for their account.

6. IO Legal Representative/IO Employee – Change Password An IO legal representative or an IO employee have the option to change their account password
once they have logged into their account.
The user has to select “Change Password” menu under “My Account” tab. Enter the current and new
passwords and click on Submit to change the password.

7. IO Legal Representative/IO Employee – Profile Updation An IO legal representative or an IO employee can update their profile information after logging
into the service information portal by sending a request email to the Royal Enfield.
The user has to select “Profile” menu under “My Account” tab.
Please note that all the fields in the user profile page are non-editable. To update any information, the user
has to click on the “Update” button and enter the details of changes in the description box and send the
same to Royal Enfield.

8. IO Legal Representative/IO Employee– Subscription/Payment Once a user logs into the service information portal, he is directed to the homepage where he or
she can buy a new subscription.
The user can either select “Click here” link or go to “Buy Subscription” menu under “Subscription” tab
to buy a new subscription.

The user can subscribe to any/all of the models listed in the subscription page. The user needs to
select the subscription duration (radio button) and the models by selecting the “Checkboxes” next
to the appropriate model. Next click on “Add to cart” to add the models to the shopping cart.
Click on “Cart” to view the summary of the subscription. The user can review and delete models
directly from the shopping cart by clicking the “Delete” button next to each model in the cart.

To proceed to the payment click on the “Pay” button and the user is then directed to the payment
gateway.
On successful payment, an acknowledgement is provided and the user is redirected to the page which has
a link to the RMI portal.

9. IO Legal Representative/IO Employee– Active Subscription Users who have a subscription already can view their “Active Subscriptions” in their home page
once they log in to the service information portal.
They can click on the “Click here for RMI Portal” link to log on to the RMI portal.

10. IO Legal Representative/IO Employee –
Subscription/Payment History An IO legal representative or an IO employee can view their subscription or payment history
after logging into the service information portal.
The subscription and payment history can be viewed from the “Subscription History” menu
under the “Subscriptions” tab. All active and past subscriptions are listed in the subscription
history.
The user can also search for particular records based on model, duration, price and dates using
the “Search” button. The result will be filtered as per the combination of search fields entered. To
reset the search fields click on “Reset” button.
The subscription history content can be exported to an excel file by clicking on the “Export to
Excel” button.

11. IO Legal Representative – Approval An IO legal representative has the option to approve or reject an IO employee registration
from this menu.
The approve menu can be viewed from the “Approve” menu under the “My Account” tab. Once
the IO legal representative approves an IO registration, the registration request is further sent to
Royal Enfield for final approval.
An IO legal employee can Approve or Reject an IO employee only ONCE. And once the decision
is made, the IO legal employee cannot change the account status of the IO employee again.
Only the Royal Enfield admin has the rights to change the account status later on.
The IO legal employee can also search for particular users (IO employees) based on their user
id, email id, contact no., VAT no., registration status and account status using the “Search”
button. The result will be filtered as per the combination of search fields entered. To reset the
search fields click on “Reset” button.
