Roy Bradley
Roy is a common sight in our kitchen lately. He is there almost every night we are serving food. His help & cheerful attitude are so
appreciated by everyone from the kitchen staff to our customers. Thanks for all
that you do, Roy !!
Aerie President’s Message
Hello to my Eagle Brothers & Sisters. I am currently Acting Worthy Presi-dent, stepping in for our brother David Phay as he is having some health issues which prevent him from his duties. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. In Decem-ber we had Christmas Baskets, Children’s Shopping Spree, Christmas dinner, 80’s Party, Volunteer Party, Beer Pong Tournament, and New Year’s Dinner & Dance. All were a huge success. We should all thank ourselves and each other for doing such a great job. January’s charity is for the Spinal Cord Injury Fund and the chairpersons are George & Bertha. Please support them in any way you can. January 17th is our Anniversary cele-bration - Aerie 111 years, Auxiliary 88 years. Please come out and see where our charity monies go and how much we have given over the past year. It is a real “feel good” moment.

JANUARY CHARITY
Spinal Cord Injury Fund
The Lew Reed Spinal Cord Injury Fund was created in 2001 to provide grants to groups aiding citizens crippled by spinal cord injuries. Lew Reed, a Past Grand Worthy President of the F.O.E., was a longtime charity fund director and served as a full-time employee of the Grand Aerie following his year as President in 1975 until his retirement in 1998.
The funds we raise locally are contrib-uted to a special fund set up in the name of Aerie #595 at St. Mary’s Hospi-tal.
This is what we have planned for Janu-ary: Our meals will be a Sunday break-fast of Ham & Eggs, Home Fries, or Bis-cuits & Gravy on the 11th. We will be offering charity desserts or raffles on Tuesdays during hamburgers - a raffle on the 6
th, and desserts on the 13
th and
27th. The Friday night snack on the 30th
will be a Taco Casserole or Shepherd’s Pie - look for the flyers. We will also be doing a monthly raffle and 50/50 boards and some other things - look for flyers. Thank you for your support.
George Williams & Bertha Connors Charity Chairpersons for January
Junior Eagles
The Junior Eagles want to thank each of you who came to their breakfast and raffle. They made about $600.00 for Autism. The kids are great and we are so proud of them and their hard work.
