Dr. Eneida Roldan is the Chief Executive Officer for FIU Health Care Network; Associate Dean for International Affairs for the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology at FIU. She is the Immediate Past Chief Executive Officer and President for the Jackson Health System in Miami. Prior to this position she was Senior Vice President, Associate Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer for Jackson Memorial Hospital. Prior to her tenure at Jackson Health System, she was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pan American Hospital that emerged out of bankruptcy under her leadership. Dr. Roldan has over 30 years’ experience in the healthcare industry having served in multiple roles both in the private and public sector to include administration both in the non-for-profit and for-profit sectors; private practice; consulting and in academia both national and international. She serves on executive committees of several community and industry organizations both at the local and national level. Dr. Roldan is a known national and international speaker in the areas of obesity, healthcare management and systems and leadership. In addition to her medical, public health and business degrees; she has attended executive education from Harvard University, Thunderbird School of Global Management and most recently has been named a Wharton Fellow from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. Dr. Roldan has authored several peer review scientific papers as well as book chapters in the field of Medicine, management and leadership. Most recently, she authored a chapter in the book: “Women in Medicine and Management: A Mentoring Guide” published in 2013 by the American College of Physician Executives. 12/2016
