We would like to seek for your endorsement to invite your teachers to attend the STEM Education Hub

TRAINING-WORKSHOP SERIES for January to March 2018. We have invited trained professionals who are

internationally trained on their field of expertise to deliver hands-on training on pedagogical and content

knowledge on basic education Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Program and other

K12 curricular programs which include specialized training on English, Disaster Preparedness and Behavioral

Management.

Effective educational pedagogies such as constructivism, social cognition learning model, learning style theory,

and brain-based learning will be used in facilitating the sessions. It will be ensured that learning is inquiry-driven,

contextual, and problem-based. The training design and delivery will include active-oriented learning techniques

using actual equipment and devices as necessary. All the training models have been consulted with various

experts from the field including teacher-training specialists from the Department of Education and inspired by

international training models.

Confirmation of attendance and payment of registration fee should be made prior to the event. Participants shall

send through email the scanned copy or picture (jpeg format) of their deposit slip with the following information:

Name, Contact Number, the Title and Date of the Seminar-Workshop written on it. Walk-in participants will be

accepted if there are still available slots and advanced information has been received.
