Chäferliweg IllgauThe Chäferliweg (the Lady Bug Trail) in Illgau starts at the Illgau – St. Karl moun-tain cable car station by the forest adventure playground. Along the way you have to find the seven lady bug children, which are hidden in various places. In the middle of the trail you can take advantage of the on-site BBQ facilities.

Moorland Experience in StoosFrom May until October, visitors can experience the Moorland of Stoos, a place where children and school groups can play, guess and learn about the local en-vironment. And: whoever collects all eight Moor signs located in the brochure will be rewarded with a small surprise at the Morschach – Stoos cable car.

The mountain village of Stoos – a world record holder

The steepest funicular railroad in the world (CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION)

The new connecting funicular railroad will be the steepest of it’s kind in the world. The construction site can be visited by groups on a guided tour or at any time for individual visitors. Special viewing platforms give you an insight into the enormous mountain railway project. See for yourself one of the new, original cabins from the railway project, which is on display at the Swiss Trans-port Museum in Lucerne. There is something for everyone at the museum, with games and further information about the funicular, as well as a climbing park.

One last ride with the nostalgic funicularThe 84-year-old funicular has greatly influenced the mountain village of Stoos. The development of the destination has heavily relied on the mountain railway operations. For all mountain railway enthusiasts, take this year as an opportuni-ty for one last ride with the old, red funicular.

Le sentier des crêtes du Klingenstock au Fronalpstock offre une vue magnifique sur plus de dix lacs suisses ainsi que sur d’innombrables sommets alpins. Condi-tion indispensable : avoir le pied sûr et de ne pas être sujet au vertige, noter les horaires des chemins de fer de montagne.
