Many moving companies will provide movers with an estimate – but many movers forget to get an estimate and compare to get the best deal. A nonbinding estimate is a document that esitmates how much you’ll pay for the move. A binding esitmate is a legal version of that document.

If your plates break in the move, who will pay for their replacements? The moving company, or you? Make sure that you get moving insurance and you know what the insurance policy covers.

Inform your gym and clubs to transfer your membership to your new city. If they don’t have an institution where you are moving, cancel your membership in order to save on surprise automatic renewal fees.
