Firstly, I’d like to talk P&C. The 2020 executive team of Kimberly Feeney (President), Jack Leclercq (Secretary) and Casey Gilbey (Treasurer) was established at last week’s Annual General Meeting. Congratulations and thank-you to you all for taking on these important positions in supporting our wonderful school. Of course, sincere appreciation and thanks are extended to outgoing office bearers Ian Spicer and Haylee Nelson for their outstanding commitment to these roles for many years. This week has seen many changes across our community and the globe as the COVID 19 pandemic intensifies. Here at MPS we will continue to follow all recommendations aimed at minimising its impact for our students and staff. At this stage, this includes cancelling many events and excluding visitors for non-essential purposes. We will provide updates through our regular communication channels as they happen. While these changes are necessary, it is also important to support our students to understand and feel safe in these circumstances. Where possible, we will maintain routines and celebrations, but maybe in a modified format. I urge all families to take a similar approach at home. Best wishes to you all for the upcoming week. Please continue to look after yourselves and each other. Fiona Lewis Relieving Principal

Three actions you can take to help manage the spread of COVID-19

1. Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly. 2. Sneeze into your elbow or a tissue, disposing of the tissue straight away and then washing your hands. 3. Stay home if you are unwell and please keep your child/children home if they are unwell.

Dance Practice Is still on!

Please note dance practice will still take place on Tuesdays in the School hall

from 3:15pm – 4:15pm.

Dance practice will also be held on Sunday 22nd March 2020 from 1-4pm in the school hall. Please note this is only for the JAZZ Dance Group.

I feel better when I am dancing!

Let’s leave you on a positive note!

Today, Kindergarten Students took part in Bus Safety Lessons. KM and KL can be seen on their virtual bus and oh my, didn’t they have fun.

Fred aka Mrs Lambert can be seen dressed up as the bus driver and Miss T played the role of a worried mother,

who decided to board the bus and accompany her children on their journey to school.

Look at the adorable photos on the next page and some videos can be found on our Facebook page @MuswellbrookPublicSchool
