What to do next?
Please get in contact with the school to let us know that you are interested in your child attending our Orientation and Transition programs.
You will need to indicate which day
you would like your child to attend and this will need to remain the same for all of the sessions.
If you haven't already done so, please
complete an Expression of Interest Form which is available from the front office.

School!
Your introduction to our school will be the beginning of a rewarding journey for your
child and your family. Our school takes pride in the many successes that will become part
of the fabric of your child's life.
At Lake Munmorah Public School, transition into Kindergarten involves our whole school community working with you to help make
your child’s school start a positive experience.
We offer an Orientation and a Transition
experience for you and your child. During the Orientation and Transition programs you will experience a variety of aspects of school life
and you will also get the opportunity to come along to an information session where
you can learn all about how the school community operates.
Please see over for the dates and times of
the Orientation and Transition programs as well as the Parent Information Session.
Below are the key dates for the programs:
Orientation—children and parents 9:15-10:45am
Attend ONE session from each week (2 sessions in total)
Week 1: Wednesday 12th OR Thursday 13th September
Week 2: Wednesday 26th OR Thursday 27th September.
Parent Information Session: 9:15-10:45am
Week 2 of Orientation Wednesday 26th OR Thursday 27th
September in the school hall
Morning tea will be available for parents.
Transition—children only 9:15am—10:45am
WEEK 4 ONLY: 9:15am—12:00pm Attend ONE session from each week
(4 sessions in total) Week 1: Wednesday 7th OR
Thursday 8th November Week 2: Wednesday 14th OR
Thursday 15th November Week 3: Wednesday 21st OR
Thursday 22nd November Week 4: Wednesday 28th OR
