Expression of Interest Western & Far West Clinical Advisory Council Membership Western NSW Primary Health Network The Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSWPHN. ) is currently seeking expressions of interest for the Western and Far West Clinical Advisory Councils Membership for a two-year term to 30 September 2021. The Western and Far West Clinical Advisory Council s are two of five WNSW PHN Advisory Councils which report through to the Western Health Alliance (WHAL) Board. The purpose of the Clinical Advisory Councils is to support and advise the WHAL Board on strategic directions and opportunities to further develop clinical services that meet the needs of the Western and Far West NSW communities. There will be a maximum of 10 members on each council covering both the Western LHD and Far West LHD region Expressions of interest for membership of the Councils are sought from clinicians currently working in the Western and Far West region of NSW. Selection Criteria Clinician currently working in the Western and Far West Regions of NSW Representatives from General Practices, including the Chair Nurse Practitioner, Nurses, Practice Nurses and Community Nurses Aboriginal Health Practitioners Allied Health Providers Pharmacists Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Clinicians The Western and Far West Clinical Advisory Councils seek to maintain a membership that is representative of the WNSW PHN planning sub-regions Please outline your relevant skills, knowledge and experience in: Ability to contribute to the development of primary health care strategy Expertise in clinical engagement in the context of the primary health care sector Ability to work collaboratively with a whole of system view Understanding of Aboriginal Health in the region, including relevant training in cultural safety and awareness Western Health Alliance Limited trading as Western NSW PHN First Floor, 187 Brisbane Street | PO Box 890 | DUBBO NSW 2830 T: 1300 699 167 | F: 1300 699 168 | W: www.wnswphn.org.au | ABN 59 605 922 156

Membership requires regular attendance and an active commitment related to the Terms of Reference Roles and Functions.
