If you are a new student at the University, welcome! As milestones go, starting University is one of the big ones. We want you to enjoy the experience and get stuck into University life, so we’ve laid on a week of activities and entertainment to help you settle in.

To our returning students, welcome back! What better way to ease yourself back into student life than with another enjoyable Welcome Week?

This programme is your at-a-glance guide to all the essential information and events happening during Welcome Week. Take a few minutes to look through it and make sure you know which events you need to attend. Please note that some are compulsory and for others you may need to book your place.

You can find more information on events and services on the University and Students’ Union websites, in particular:

The University has made suitable car parking provision at Walsall Campus. Therefore please make every effort to park on the designated car parks.

Don’t park illegally in the streets around the Campus as the police will be paying particular attention in this area and you will be caught!

Whether it’s how you park or coming onto or leaving the site, be respectful to our neighbours.

Better still – leave the car at home and use our free intersite bus service, or public transport.
