Becoming a Veterinarian

GPA: Average 3.57

GRE: 308.3

Animal/Veterinary Experience: min 500 (but depends on school) applicant have in average 3500

Recommendation letter:At least 2 from veterinarians

1 academic

Becoming a Member Active Membership:

- Pay $15 in dues per semester or $20 for the year, by February 23rd (1st Speaker) You will receive a club shirt with dues

- Attend 3 events (fundraisers do NOT count as events)

- Attend all speakers

- Attend 1 fundraiser

- 30 animal/vet related hours per semester

- Members active for a year will receive a graduation cord

Events Membership:

ALWAYS BE ON TIME, DO NOT CANCEL LAST MINUTE

PENALTIES

YOU MUST GIVE 2 WEEKS NOTICE IN ORDER TO

CANCEL FOR AN EVENT YOU ARE SIGNED UP FOR

CONSEQUENCES1st penalty: You will have to make-

up the event missed2nd penalty: You will be considered an events member only, and will forfeit slots to all future events.

ALWAYS wear closed toed shoes: tennis or hiking shoes (no flats, toms, etc)

Appropriate dress code for field work is comfortable shoes, pants, and polo shirt.
