Year 8 basketball team make a winning start
On Wednesday evening, the Year 8 boys basketball team played their first game of the season against Ridgeway Middle School. After a very tight first half, Church Hill narrowly edged it and went into the break 4-0 to the good. Church Hill made a very quick start to the second half, with some slick passing and greater accuracy in their shooting, stretching their lead fur-ther. The boys continued to play well as a team, moved the ball quickly and eventually went on to win the game 14-2. It was a well deserved victory and the boys should be proud of their performances. Well done to all involved.
Team: Timothy Bowman, Joe Masters, George Oloren-shaw, Harvey Khan-Jones, Ryan Berg, Jurgis Leitis, Alec Wynne-Smith and Callum Doughty.
