Share the template with the children. Put on flexible learning page. What have we already learned about Italy? Can they decorate their invitation with an Italian theme? Shared reading – Pinocchio PowerPoint Story Adjectives – Share the Adam Adjective power point. Choose a character from the story to model for the children. Write the adjectives the children think of around the character. E.g., Geppetto = old. Can children think of sentences using their adjectives? (see resources on our class flexible learning page) Can you make your own potions? You could use ingredients from your kitchen cupboard for an indoor potion and things from your garden for a muddy potion. Use different size containers and spoons. Count how many you put into your potion. We are going to have an Italian Party Day celebration (Wednesday 10 th Feb at 11.45) -Children (and grown-ups) can dress up, make an Italian snack for our party, listen to music, play musical bumps, make an Italian themed decoration. Can you find something red, white and green around your home? Children can watch Mrs Coleman and Mrs Jones make a pizza wrap with their favourite toppings. Children are welcome to join in from home too. You will need a wrap, tomato puree, cheese and a topping you like.

· Handwriting/ Mark Making; you don’t always have to use a pencil try using mud, squirty water bottle, paint etc.

· Look at word and letters every day in books, magazines, cookbooks etc. Can you recognise any letters?

· Look at the Oxford Reading Owl website. Enjoy a book with your grown up.

· Counting up to 5, 10, 20...

· Number formation; you don’t always have to use a pencil try using mud, squirty water bottle, paint etc.

· Days of the week- what day is it today? Yesterday was... Tomorrow will be …

· Take daily exercise – Joe Wicks workout is available Mon, Wends, Fri at 9am.

· Play board games with your family.

· Go for a walk – Can you see any signs of Spring yet?

· Can you help your grown-ups to do jobs around the house?
