Your weekly update on the coatings industry Current number of subscribers: 42397
Dear reader,
What a truly global business: A company from the U.S. buys a German coatings manufacturer, and only 100 days later announces its first big investment… not in good old Europe, nor in the United States, but in China!
Well, let’s face it: That seems to be the way it goes these days.
And of course Axalta claims – fair enough - that it is just "growing together with its customers”. Who would not do this regarding one’s own business? However, this may be a first indicator of what strategy to expect for markets which are classified as non-high-growth.
Have a closer look at this week’s European Coatings News to get an update on other indicators of the further market and technology development of our paint and coatings industry.
Enjoy reading!
