WUT BUSINESS SCHOOLIt is an initiative of Warsaw University of Technology and three renowned European partners: London Business School, HEC Paris and the Norwegian School of Economics. WUT Business School educates graduates who are aspiring to success in Polish and foreign companies, in terms of management. Programs occupy high positions in prestig-ious rankings, both Polish, European and international. Types of study:• Executive MBA,• Training in Pharmacoeonomics,• Academy of Leadership Psychology,• FBA – Family Business Academy,• Total Design Management,• Advanced Programme for Excellence in

Pharmaceutical Business.

WUT Distance-Learning Centre – OKNO PWOKNO PW has introduced the SPRINT model of “distance-learning” education using the in-ternet. This is based on the assumption that,

ACADEMIC RESEARCH CENTERSplay the role of academic and industrial units and conduct interdisciplinary research, ser-vice, training and promotional activities:• Academic Research Centre for Functional

Materials,• Academic Research Centre for Aerospace

Engineering,• Academic Research Centre for Defence

and Security,• Centre for Research of Business at the

Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science.

ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH CENTERSimplementing projects under scientific consortiums, combine the potential of out-standing scientists from various universi-ties and other scientific institutions with entrepreneurs who wish to implement new technologies:• Centre for Pre-Clinical Research

and Technologies (CePT),• Centre for Advanced Materials

and Technologies CEZAMAT.

WUT determination trends in all areas of operation

All researches and developments conducted in the WUT are the answer to the challenges of modern science and the economy. Technology transfer is an important part of the mission of the WUT as a center of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Creative Semester of Project (KSP), which sup-ports the development of creative thinking and accelerate evolution, enjoys every season great interest of students.

INFOX – A NEW APPROACH TO TEACHINGValuable engineer have a lot of important skills: creativity, good in teamwork, solving non-trivial problems. They cannot be learned from the Internet! Therefore, the Warsaw University of Technology carried out an inno-vative form of education, based on the busi-ness methodologies:• Project Based Learning,• Design Thinking.

• transfer of technology is managed,• commercialization of inventions and new

solutions is supervised,• students and scientist work together in

innovation incubators,• young scientists have the space and condi-

tions for development,• classes are conducted in the form of inno-

vative forms of education.

WUT CENTRE FOR INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER MANAGEMENTis an original project of Warsaw University of Technology. The activity of the Centre covers the area of commercialisation and technol-ogy transfer. It is a Warsaw Technological Space where:• research and scientific projects are

supported,

From idea, through the invention to company

*On 14th November 2014 the Senate of WUT accepted the objectives of the Warsaw University of Technology Long-term Investment Program-me for 2015–2026.
