• Present online detailed information on administrative procedures related to investment and business activities such as land lease, investment certificate application, tax registration, construction permit application…

• Phase I: Hanoi in 2007

• Phase II: Hochiminh City and Danang in 2009 -2010

• Phase III: 4 provinces of Vinh Phuc, Hai Duong, Binh Dinh and Phu Yen in 2013 – 2014

VIETNAM E-REGULATIONS

Overall objectives:

• Transparency of investment procedures in Vietnam

• Simplify investment-related administrative procedures

• Reduce investment costs and enable foreign investors to run businesses in Viet Nam

Beneficiaries:

• MPI: useful tool in making law and simplifying procedures

• Cities and provinces: investment promotion to attract more foreign investment

• Investors: reduce time and cost spent on finding information and carrying out administrative procedures, contributing to encourage and support activities of foreign investors in Vietnam.

VIETNAM E-REGULATIONS

Organization for Implementation

• Management unit: in the central (Ministry of planning and Investment) and in the local (DPI), responsible for monitoring and co-ordinating local project implementation, acting as focal points in directing related agencies to provide information for the project.

• Working group: consist of local work group and provincial system managers who responsible for the system operation, and collection, registration, certification and updating information relating to investment procedures in the system
