    It caters for samples originating from:

    Open hole samplers: M DT tools, Cased hole w ireline sampler s and DST sampling t ools,

    Well head samples (under single phase conditions).

    The PVT Express comprises 4 disti nct hardw are modules:

    1. PVT-XPM t his consists of t he PVT cell and pump, w hereby fluid propert ies are obtained under reservoir pressures and

    temperatures.

    2. PVT-XPI to display the dat a from t he PVT-XPM and convert to a digital output so t hat the dat a can be recorded in real-time by

    PC

    3. PVT-XPC port able dual oven chromatograph w hich can analyze hydrocarbon gases to C12 and liqui ds to C36+

    4. PVT-XPGOR system to measure the sample GOR

    In addition to these modules, a densitometer and viscometer are used to obtain stock tank fluid properties.

    The purpose of the hardware is to perform basic fluid measurements on samples including Psat at reservoir temperature, single

    stage fl ash GOR, reservoir fluid com positional analysis up to C36+, stock tank density and viscosity. These results are then

    processed through the PVT Expert Artificial Neural Network model to produce a set of measured and predicted data, presented in

    this report
