Doors and windows have one or the other unique features which di�erentiate them from the other parts of the house. They are the main source of positive energy in our homes. Usually, we have seen that people use PVC which is a rigid plastic and is quite popular among the manufacturers of windows and doors. Except PVC you may �nd wooden doors which require annual maintenance and are di�cult to maintain.

People are not aware of the fact that when they are heated, the material gets melted and takes another shape when cooled. UPVC doors and windows have been into market now and have become the choice of many people. Now we would see the some of the major advantages why people prefer UPVC doors and windows over others can be explained here under:

Why UPVC? for UT Projects

Unplasticized PolyVinyl Chloride, a rigid, chemically resistant form of PVC used for piping, window frames, and other structures.

UPVC fairly known as rigid PVC, is a multi-purpose material used in various applications with the main use in building industry. Other than building purposes, UPVC also used in products such as clothes, shoes, credit cards, sewer, sports, electricity, water pipes and water and wind resistant jackets, etc.

Globally, UPVC windows and doors have been well accepted, with wide usage globally due to better aesthetics and excellent insulation characteristic. Needless to say, this product has achieved a higher and faster market penetration globally. Following the trend in the global market, India has started achieving more in this direction. UPVC has founded its sustainable future in the building industry.

Ranging from a wide collection of tilt and turn, friction stay, inside and outside opening, slider or �xed windows and doors, we provide products with best of the quality and long lasting durability. Although UPVC products are a bit expensive than the conventional and traditional doors and windows made from aluminum and wood their features are unmatchable and thus are successfully increasing their purchase power in India presently.

Salient Features about UPVC doors and windows

Weather Resistant

UPVC is highly weather resistant quality is achieved by anti ultra violet and high impact resistant formu-lation. It withstands long exposure in extreme weather, like under scorching sun, storms, dryness or high humidity. They are ideal to install in special conditions like in coastal areas where the strong winds, heavy rains and salty air e�ects the building. Fire Resistant

UPVC products are �re retardant. Fire tests have shown that UPVC material being naturally �ame retardant through their product life, will not cause support or enhance the natural development of �re. Unlike the timber windows, UPVC sections do not support combustion are in fact self extinguish-ing.

Economical & Maintenance Free

UPVC products are very economical when compared to the other alternatives like wood, aluminum, steel, etc. available in the market. Also it is very easy and quick to fabricate & install without any mas-sive labour work. Looking upon other advantages like closed, smooth surface makes it extremely easy to clean, using any household detergent in water. This also means that the product is virtually dirt resistant because there are no pores which can be �lled with dirt. They do not require regular repaint-ing or expensive maintenance and also these products are also Termite Resistant.

Water Resistant

UPVC doors & windows are water resistant. They are fabricated by using sophisticated and automatic machines insuring no gaps. During installation process special material are used to prevent water passing from outside to inside. These Upvc window and doors systems are successfully used in swim-ming pools, marine & ocean environment without detriment to the surface �nish or performance. These Upvc windows and doors are ideal for monsoon seasons.

E�cient Thermal Insulation

UPVC doors & windows contribute to a cozy and comfortable atmosphere in your home. They prevent thermal bridging; the thermal insulating performance of the �nished window is exceptionally good. The glazing is also of utmost importance for good thermal values, also contributing to a substantial energy saving. Environment Friendly

The extrusive process of UPVC window and door pro�les is relatively energy e�cient, compared to other materials. Another bene�t where UPVC has been speci�ed as an alternative to wood is that it helps in curbing deforestation. Besides they can be fully recycled and reused for the production of UPVC pro�les.
