This month we would like to Educate and share some of our valuable information with our Customers about the “Ceiling hanging Plumbing lines in Toilets”
Salient features about Drop Ceiling One of the modern techniques adapted nowadays in construction industry is Dropped ceiling which is often a secondary ceiling, hung below the main (structural) ceiling, although can be the only ceiling. They may also be referred to as a drop ceiling, false ceiling, or suspended ceiling, and are a staple of modern construction and architecture. The area above the dropped ceiling is called the plenum space, as it is sometimes used for HVAC air return. The plenum space is also very commonly used to conceal piping, wiring, and/or ductwork.
Definition
A drop ceiling consists of panels or tiles that hang a few inches below the main structural ceiling. In other words, the suspended ceiling does not make up a permanent structural foundation, but rather serves as a covering for the more solid framework above. Drop ceilings are especially useful in residential apartments and directly beneath upper-level bathrooms in multiple-storey homes.Now let us see the Advantages
• Problems can be indentified immediately and attended. • The toilet floor will not be weakened due to water seepage. • A suspended ceiling has aesthetic advantages, as it covers up beams and studs that would otherwise be exposed. • The space between the structural ceiling and the drop ceiling can also be used to run wires, cables, pipes and ventilation systems discreetly throughout the home. • With a suspended ceiling, you can easily access and modify these hidden vents and pipes whenever neces-sary, without needing to tear apart the ceiling or gain access to the attic.
There are many different types of suspended ceilings out there and they can be used in many different situa-tions, the most common systems to be used are the drop panel system. This system is used because you can easily remove panels from the suspended ceilings grid one by one rather than with concealed systems where you will have a main panel which you can remove and then you slide the rest of the panels out until you reach the desired panel that you wish to look at.These types of suspended ceilings are getting more and more uncommon as they are not as practical as the drop panel system which also gives you easy access to the ceiling void and makes it easy to carry out mainte-nance on any of the ceiling that you wish including in the ceiling void above where you may have ventilation or wiring that may need altering at some point.
A suspended ceiling is very functional in the new bathroom. Good looking, it can hide electric wiring, ventila-tion pipes, and etc.
These are the important distinguishing properties. To ensure all this we have in fact have a Quality Control (QC) people at site to monitor all this. All these small things go in a big way to dream home a treasured one
